soo boosters seem very popular as of late. some recommend a certain specific time during the flower cycle, and then switch to this on this week, and so on and so forth. apply it wrong, and everything can get fucked in a hurry.
well, on a site not so long ago, i came across a recipe for a booster from a guy, who knows what hes doing. it is simple, effective, easy to make, stores pretty well, and the bud development is pretty impressive, especially if done in a side by side comparision.

the booster from hell:
1. 6oz of reverse osmosis water
2. 0.65ml (a little less that 1/8 teaspoon) general hydros koolbloom dry

mix well as to dissolve all the crystals. now, check the ppms of the solution. you are looking for a range of 1900-2200 ppm.

dosage: start slow, 5ml per gallon. can be applied with base nutrients or on fresh water feeds. DO NOT use back to back. boost water water boost has whats been working well for me. eventually you want to work it up to about 15-25ml per gallon

alot of people complain of the harshness of koolbloom. with this dilution that does not happen. well, thats it really, any questions, ill try to answer

I'm totally down with that low dosing, but working up to 15-20g/dose?? That's a STRONG hit! Can you show the side-by-sides?

When I was using it, I used only every 10 days, beginning right after flip and stopping two weeks before harvey.

yes, diluting it you can pump in that much, although that ml is very strain dependent. my desert diesel plant only gets 10ml per gal, the lemon kush headband i have going likes 20ml. ill try and post some pics when lights come on. and im not sure if you meant g instead of ml. you arent putting that much of the dry ferts into your gallon, you are diluting it down and then adding it

With a 50-30 powder the solution works out to be appx;

5ml = 1ppm P and // 1.2 ppm K
20ml = 4ppm P and // 5 ppm K

That is ppm if the concentrate is added to 1 gallon of nutrient solution.

1/8th tsp = 0.61 ml
1/8th tsp of a dry 50-30 powder weighs 0.72 gm
33.814 ounces in a liter (divided by) 6 oz solution = 5.636
0.72gm x 5.636 = 4.06 gm / liter
(1000ml / 20ml = 50)
4.06gm (divided by) 50 = 0.0812gm per 20ml

20ml or 0.0812gm added per gallon of nutrient solution = 4ppm P and 5ppm K

Interesting where did this come from?
You do know thats backwards right? So if you use a 0-50-30 NPK... you end up with more potassium than phosphorus? Hmmmmm

Did you see the guy that pre dilutes it and ends up with r/o and ends up with 2000ppm in the bottle?

haha sorry bit of dyslexia there; I meant the standard 0-30-50
K so when a little scoop of this is put in ro water (<5PPM)... per ~6oz of water they are testing at 2000ppm.
Have you actually tested this real world with multiple tds/ppm pens and expensive table top meters or are you just using the chart?
