It would depend on what you plan to run them at, but most likely the latter. The SE chips are probably the best available right now.

Planning to use it for flowering, i noticed the A class is higher cri (93) and lower temp but much less lumen than the SE.
Thanks MW

depends how many you wanna run over a given footprint. The A and B run at higher input voltage so you would need less cobs,The C and D run lower input voltage so you can put more on 1 driver and drive them softer for better efficiency.

Hey heisenbubble thanks for joining.

Chamber is 43" height, 34 width, 20 depth.
Also which driver do you recommend that will also run a feet or two of lmc561c strip?
Should i use hlg 320h-12A?

Doesn't leave you a whole lot of room for if it's only 43" tall tbh. Hopefully you either flip your plants early or train them well

Just to give you an idea. It's 600x800x800mm (WxLxH) and 150W

Yes space is limited, should i use only one vero29 or a quantom board instead?

Get a quantum board or two. Your height is limited and with a single vero you won't have the coverage. You could also use smaller cobs in a higher count and drive them soft. The smaller they get the cheaper they are.

I have 576 lm561c in there at 150W, 28.9W/sqr'. That's overkill for veg and about right for flower considering the limited height and spread of those chips.

576 chips makes 2x qb288 from hlg

Your plant internode spacing looks great toaster, do you use the same cabinet for flowering? So i should aim for 150-200w lmc561 for flowering?
Thank you all for helping a newb.

Oh, forgot to mention. Just built this one and those two plants weren't raised in there. For now I'm keepimg pepper seedlings in there beside those two canna plants and am strugling somewhat. Need to mount the dimmer and attenuate lights some.

I'm thinking of doing a sog run in there. Start 24 seeds, cull males and see how it goes. Probably 12/12 from seed.
You should look at 25-30W/sqr' if using qbs or cobs. And like I said, a single cob, even if it can handle 150-200W, would make for a crappy coverage. Probably bleach/burn your plants in the middle with that footprint.

yeah... having both I can honestly say I prefer the 561c's. the cobs have bleached the top of a couple buds every single time. granted, taking off my 90 degree reflectors seemed to have helped.

and if you're only working with 43" you're already going to be low on space.
