Hello All,
Wanted to get some feedback and advice on the rdwc I'm about to set-up.

Thanks to HeathRobinson for his inspiring threads and experiments that set the standard for yields.
Much thanks to Jwizzle for his tutorial I will be following that for the basics, haven't measured my room yet for spacing but will prob do tomorrow.
And thanks AllLegal420 for yet another grow to learn from.

Space in room set aside for this experiment is approx 10x10x10, any advice on centers appreciated.

0 x 0 0=27 gal brute with lady
x $ x x=600
0 x 0 $=1000

0 <-active res
() <-45 gal top up passive res

Running H&G w/silica, have been adding bene's but may switch to zone approach if that is possible at this point. They are currently in 18 gal brutes but moving to 27 soon if I can get the roots out and into a new hole without cutting em first.

Pic 1 ladies!
Pics 2 & 3 Different stems supercropped plenty
Pic 4 Bushy bitch bout 2x2x2
Pic 5 ROOTS

Thanks, thanks, thanks for reading this far. Anything that sounds off or tips you have I am ready to learn. Lets grow some fucking dope.

Hell yea devlove, looking great!

Were running 40" centers but it's first run so not sure if it's ideal or not yet. A lot depends on strain and also lights. Many experienced farmers say that it's not quite enough with 5 - 1000s... Since ur running mainly 600's you might be good with 40's... Take that info with a grain of salt please!

When going to the 27 gal totes use the 5 gal bucket cut down for the netpot to sit in, shouldn't have any issue getting the roots in with this method. Check my thread for pics and there is also a tutorial in the MPB section, think Mrdizzle made it but may be mistaken.

Good luck and look forward to watching this progress!! I had some more typed out but got timed out and lost it all dammit! lol Its looking great so far, keep the key elements in check and KISS method, should go great!

Nice to see ya here dev, as i'm another heath follower.. and long time advocate.... all i can say is... with my personal strains.. i flowered at 15 " tall , 22" wide, with about 10- 15 root shoots into the bottom bucket and they ended up 52" tall.. 56" wide..

i also started with 42 inch centers, and got alot of buds singed from the heat.. but they recovered but it cost me yield as not enough spacing caused the lights to be encroached on.. so they couldn't really cast out a nice light..

all that said.. keep your lights ABOVE until stretch is over... then lower

my only tips .. and personal exp.. good luck man... godda massive jump with those beautiful plants...

Have been busy trying to get everything rocking, this is just an experiment most of my time is in the rest of my room. Finally setup and glued and got it all flowing. First pump I tried was an ecoplus 1256?($75) and when I screwed the pvc on it cracked the pump and water was leaking everywhere, couldn't be fixed with tape silicon, putty. So I ordered the gh inline pump(140) for the aeroflo setup and it is very well built and I knew it would hold up. No leaks now and lots of water flow. Since this is just an experiment I didn't have the $ to invest in a waterchiller and before I hooked the pump up water temp was cold to the touch. But with it on it is significantly warmer, I've been putting 1 gal frozen water bottles in the active res 2x a day and it is helping to maintain colder temps, by no means steady but gotta do what ya gotta do. Clearing out the inside branches that are not going to produce anything. Left them alone for the first month cause I didn't know what was going to bulk up. Tying off main branches towards closest lights to support and open the canopy.
Catpiss 10 weeker, about 6 weeks now.

so do you find that you need to supplement any extra cal/mag during a longer sativa like that or anything special.. i've never personally ran that long of a strain.. looks amazing.. yet still VERY immature.. kinda weird to me... lol.. hook up some knowledge on that strain man

Gotta tie up some branches, almost touching the floor.

These are the healthiest plants I've ever had, no signs of deficiency just dark green leaves, I attribute this all to the UC style. I use tap water and a ml/gal of calmag and they seem happy. Definitely want a chiller though if I'm going to continue this style. Oh yeah I was using superthive throughout flower but have stopped after browsing the forums and seeing it delays flowering, maybe they'll finish sooner. She seems to be a yielder, not expecting a whole lot as this is a trial run with problems along the way, I'd be stoked with a p per tho.

This system is amazing, I fill it and don't even look pay it any attention mostly... Plants in this rdwc have slightly cloudier trichs than cuts of same strain in coco drip that were flipped at same time, not to mention pistils are changing color where my drip they are still shooting white hairs, going to pull two weeks earlier than drip ones so long as trichs look right. Just water for now. 8-)
