Great thread.
Thinking of a set up similar to yours, wild you mind sharing how much you spent on the drip system?

Sure. Mondi pump. Bout 0
Vinyl Hosing 3/8" Bout 500 feet. Bout 0 or a 100 feet (use same diamater vinyl hosing to make halo drip rings, which actually saves a lot of money cuz those halo drippers are like 20 a piece f that)
PVC 1" to PVC 1 1/2" about
PVC Couplers and 90 elbows and 45 elbows to align with wall about
PVC Glue cement about another
Ball Valves .50 each
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006U4E9F2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Then can't forget the drill bit to make 1/4" hole into 1 1/2 " PVC forget what its called maybe pimples can chime in..I should just take a pic my wife probably knows what its called anyways it creates a hole in PVC with grooved edges so that the ball valves can turn twist into pvc $10
I'm missing something...
35 Gal res...$28
Some 1" and 1 1/2" metal brackets to stick to wall $10
Some anchors and screws to screw those into wall $6
Pack of 100 metal stakes look like this |_| to hold halo rings firmly into pot they're cheap like $4
Then...go to this site...
https://www.usplastic.com/ or a hydro store and find yourself 90 degree black plastic elbows I believe
62036 1/4" NPT x 3/8" Hose ID Black HDPE Elbow 25 Each $0.54 $0.54 $13.50
62065 3/8" x 3/8" x 3/8" Hose ID Black HDPE Tee 25 Each $0.54 $0.54 $13.50
Totals
Order Subtotal $27.00
Shipping and Handling $11.59
Tax $0.00
Order Total (USD) $38.59
That should save u a fuck ton of time friend ^ cuz the plastic part connectors was the hardest to figure out...the ID vs OD like why can't it all be the measured the same way no they all have to make shit difficult LMAO
if you over do it like we did for 25 then thats going to run you aprox $374.59 plus 6.50 x 25 ball valves= $162.50 + $374.59 =$537.09 GRAND TOTAL
No wait. Seconds timer. There are some for like $20 like this one
http://www.mistking.com/Seconds-Timer-MKST-24.html
But we use the digital master timer because you can plug in your pump...plus your light controller relay switch...plus a day plug and a night plug so theres fan and dehumid and pump and lights all ran off of one..very efficient however you'll need 240V connection direct to panel for your light controller if you want to work it like that
To drill holes to make halo..just use a smaller sized drill bit. Increase diamater to increase flow...decrease diamater if you like shit getting clogged on you :)
