Remember these little guys? I am trying to grow some snap peas.
I need my bench back, so I have decided to pot up.
Google will give you results all day on flowering cannabis. I'm not sure if any one else ever Googled flowering snap peas ,but there just doesn't seem to be a lot out there.

I talked to them and a cool spot back in the right-hand corner . They knew what to do .

Even in that dark corner , they were seeing a light increase from their previous location. It happened really fast.

Day 27 flower was the first time I started seeing stuff I really didnt like .

These seeds were given to us by someone who produced them at home. The only thing specifically I can recall (about the seed ) at the moment is , they are supposedly, all four the same.

It is becoming more and more apparent to me, in the last couple of weeks, that one of these things is not like the other .
The only indication before flower, was the fact that the odd one produced gigantic fan leaves. They all look to be Indica hybrid, but the odd duck I now believe to be an odd man out.
If I scroll back over the pictures I should have realized it sooner. Someone with experience may have spotted it during veg.
The first budlets all formed the same, but they stack up quite differently .
They are littered with sugar leaves and impossible to photograph- they always appear like little black holes.

The seeds were not mixed up at our end. Anyone with the brainpower to produce them surely would have separated them correctly.

Soooo, this was greeting me, at lights on -TODAY

Was getting a little toasty. I pushed everyone out from centre.
All buds now are getting 800-1000 ppfd.
Exception of two tallest @ 1200 ppfd .

That plant got 2.5 L of water yesterday .
I just put 2L in the top over 7 mins .
Had 1L out the bottom.

Tried that trick again today .
With a twist
I buffered the RO water up a bit to 150 ppm , to slow down the swing.
I added "rootfarm" ? potassed based ¿ "ph down "
Knocked it back right to 5.4 ph

I have been following along the manufacturer's nute sched , ramping as we go .
They call for 1000ppm solution
I am closer to 5

What am I seeing here ?
Am I correct in believing that it is important to watch what is running out of the bottom of the pot in my particular situation?

I have read when watering, that you are Ph'ing the for the soil- not for the water.
Am I following the right track?

Does that mean, staticly, my roots should see an ideal pH when the water is exchanging with the atmosphere and soil ?Is that happening only when I water?
Have I exceeded the maximum allowable number of questions in one paragraph?

When I built soil for my planted Aquarium I used peat and sphagnum heavy soil, as I intended on injecting CO2 into the system, increasing the CO2 while lowering the pH.
The poor sods that used coral intended or calcium-based gravel had a unique dilemma.

As the water became more acidic, the calcium would disolve and enter the column whereby increasing the hardness whilst inturn, raising the pH. The CO2 controller would see the rise and continue to inject CO2, whilst, in turn, disolving more minerals .
The more acid we added the more minerals we dissolved .
Am I fighting the same battle here with my soil?

I think the coral via acidic feed should self correct , Dolomites next go around . Smoother decay and control. Helps avoid spikes, sulfur is another amended item I’d recommend for ph control in soil as amendments in soil make up.

I have realized that there is 10 years worth of Malaysian Trumpet Snails, dead, in that soil . Lots of unaccounted calcium there.
Should I be knocking down the ph to achieve something closer to 6 ph out the bottom ?

If the plants show a ph issue then yes, otherwise I think as roots develop hey should self correct

I am flowering into week five.
The plants seem to be doing what they should do. Most of the fan leaves larger than my hand are starting to show yellows .
I understand root zone ph allows uptake. Just want to do my part . Seems they are riding high.

Unfortunately, the peas were not getting the supports they needed at home.
They literally turned to drugs.

When I kicked on the light today, there was frost everywhere.

The good kind . It was there before, just seemed to intensified. Gotta be a good sign.
The hps lamps were full warm when I found the camera; no contrasts,,,but you get the idea .

The second pic is closer to the canopy level. The tips are not full virgin anymore.
