We all got issues. Can’t diagnose the plants on that though. 25 days in is an important time too you need to get pics on here n describe this if you want help. At this stage almost everything effects yield. I can’t picture your plant. So got no idea where to start. List feeds n all cause it could be something simple off in feeds too. Don’t rely on nute company feed chart. You’ll get deficiencies. Ph? That alone will throw everything out of whack. Usually at this stage I’d guess you seeing a lockout or deficiency. If it’s not then it’s fungus or bugs which def ain’t got time to be played with now.

can see some bronze on the tips here

40%ffof. 30% ffhf 30% perlits

i use tap water diluted with ro to under 100 ppm and i water when the pot feels light (4-5 days)

7. What is the pH of your water?
i ph it to 6.3-6.5

8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio?
bio canna nutes, whole line. currently in bloom cycle, it adds up to 3-5-5

9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything?
i was using preventative neem spray, havent this week now that buds are forming

10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights")
hlg 260 set at approx 160-180 watts

11. How close are your lights to the plants?
30 inches


12. What size is your grow space in square feet?
5 sq ft

13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space?
74 farenheit, royghly 35-40% RH

14. What is the pH of the soil?
dont know i dont check runoff, have been told to pay more attention to all water/nutes going in

15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space?
bunch of tiny little bugs in my runoff water, almost positive its springtails

16. How much experience do you have growing?
bery little but im a fast learner, this is first grow

Ok so at first i thought it was nute burn, i was seeing yellowing on my leaf tips.
I realized my light was too close for one, i HAD it at 185 watts at 20 inches, plant was showing light stress, i used a ppfd calculator and determined it was way too much light, i corrected it and plants are roughly arpund 700-750 ppfd and 30 DLI now
Since i thought i had nute burned the plants, i did a light flush and figured the problem would end.

2 things happened, the “nute burn” continued, and also noticed after a couple days a bunch of tiny squirming bugs in my run off. i looked at them under a loupe, looks like springtails in my soil. also kinda am thinkjng its a K definecy and P definecy in flower, not nute burn, because i flushed the plants again, and it continued yellowing.

last night i made a nute solution and watered again even though the soil is still drenched, im keeping a close eye on the plants now to see what happens to tge leaf tips now

i was only mixing my BIO FLORES canna nute solution, it comes out to only arpund 250 ppm ( starting water is only approx 100ppm +- 10 so really only giving the plant 150ppm of the CANNA nutes.

i have been so careful to not overfeed the plants, do you think they are UNDERFED not nute burned?

what can i do about the springtails? there are hundereds of them in my runoff saucer, i used MICROBE LIFT in my last couple watering/flush because i thought they were fungus gnat larvae, which im almost positive they are not, after looking at them at the loupe.

what is the deal here?

looking more into it with my growing marijuana textbook it looks more like a P and K deficiency rather than nute burn, i think ive just been chronically underfeeding the plant for a while. i have never actually used the reccomended amount canna actually says to use on the bottle, any suggestions?

Another question, doesnt the flowers look alot further along than just 25 days? the sugar leaves are already frosted as heck, and the trichs are all standing up, im worried i did something wrong and the plant is maturing too fast, any help out here?

Ide lean more towards K deficiency. Up your nutrient intake. Give a good flush with bone meal first then let dry out till they are borderline droopy. Overall they look great. You didn’t do anything wrong as far as growth each strain is going to grow at its own pace as long as it’s getting taken care of properly.

do you think that the defiency is probably because i have been using 1/4 strenght of what CANNAs reccomendations are for the plant, i really think thats what it is. i didnt follow the directions at all because was so worried about nute burn

Not really I’m at 25 days also n set about the same.

If you’re running 25% I would double that to 50% first. They really don’t look bad. I see what you’re saying light tops and the pale coming through. I think bumping the feeds will help. And your buds are not maturing too fast. They look good.

my soil seems to set itself at 7 so by giving it a range around 6.3-6.5 allows tge plant to uptake all the nutrients it needs while it goes back up to 7 in the soil.
before this happened the plants seemed to be doing ok, i vegged them long to try to get the hang of nutrients and what not, which i think i did ok at for first grow. i didnt think the problem was ph related neccasarily, i just thought that i burned the tips from the soil being too hot still, but guess it seems to be working out, i cant wait till the buds actually start up, right now it seems like its all hair and crystals lol
