Is it safe to post cell phone pic's?

I've heard a lot of different thing about posting cell phone pics and was wondering if its safe and if not what has to be done to make it safer if at all?.

Regardless of the type of camera you use you should use something that strips all identifiable info the image. Digital image carry with them EXIF data which stores the camera type, photo settings, and lots of details about the image and equipment.

Agreed, as long all the metadata is removed, it is fine.

In Win7, you can remove the metadata simply by right-clicking the image, selecting properties, going to the "details" tab and clicking on "Remove Properties and Personal Information" which is found at the bottom of the window.

It's not safe, if you need to be 100% safe - don't use cell phones - Tor + crypto-charts and so on,
