They are just that big. I was good at growing huge high quality mushrooms. The yields weren't as high but as I wanted the bags always looked great. Usually 8-16 dried ones would have been 1oz.

As the captions say, the first is Oaxaca Mexico, the second come from the old field of dreams around Houston TX USA. I also grew B+ and Golden teachers as well as Ethiopian, Indian, Hawaiian, Z, and one more I'm not remembering. A few more I colonized and never got to fruiting since I don't have space for it anymore. I plan to try some psilocybe cyansen in an outdoor plot one of the next few years. The cyans are supposed to be much more potent than any cubensis stain. Of the ones I grew the favorites seemed to be the teachers, B+, Z, and Hawaiian, which are all rumored to be offshoots of the same strain.
