Running out of room. Will be transplanting outdoor plants today.

I am so far behind, I’m still pushing dirt around the garden. I will at least grow a few this season. I have completely redone my orchard with new holes, new soil, etc., which is part of the reason I’m so far behind. You’re grow is looking excellent. Very nice plants.

Looking forward to seeing your grow as well. I'm only sharing the garden with a few 15gal that I'm giving to my cousin. Now that I have room I'll spread them out for better access to the sunlight and easier maintenance/harvest. Figuring I probably lost 30% of the 1st harvest flowers to overlap last year. I bet I can pull another 50% this year. The trick is to fit them all under the sunscreen. Having to dim the lights in the tent proved to me that these are shade plants. I'll continue to grow accordingly. Plus it minimises cutworm/silkworm infestations.

Was still cleaning up the garden yesterday and didn't have time to transplant any outdoors. Needs to be done today but I'm so not looking forward to moving around those 200gal smart pots. The transplants will be under a sunscreen so there shouldn't be any need to harden them off.

Getter done! I have a lot to get done too, but I been lazy and the weather hasn't been conducive. I did get out a little yesterday, picked up a gallon of B1 and a 7lb bag of earth worm castings from home depot. I also got a big bottle of molasses from smart n final gonna make some killer tea this week. They had these big tubs on sale for 6 bucks so I picked up a couple to use as reservoirs so I can mix bigger batches and save some time since I run coco and have to water daily. Good luck on your project today.

The beginning of my circus tent style shade cover. Bringing all my 200gal pots to the backside of the garden away from the shade of that scrub oak. I knew that, with some patchwork adjustments, I can cover the exact same square footage as last year, but with no wasted space. Breaking out the box of bolts and the drill to engineer a bamboo frame to get rid of that center post. If all goes according to plan I'll be able to walk all the way around each individual plant. At the minimum, they'll no longer be pushing on, and through, the fence.

Couldn't get rid of the center post with what I had on hand, the bamboo kept breaking. So I sunk the post and proceeded to finish up the patchwork. Needs to be tightened up a but should work fine.

Like the setup. It'll be cool to watch it take shape.

Thank you.

Was supposed to have it done days ago but I've been hurting more than usual. Need to move dirt out of those 200gal pots to make them light enough to move, then refill them.

I sure hope staggering the pots gives me enough room to move and a bigger yield.

Spent the morning moving around six 3/4 full 200 gal smart pots. Finally got my outdoor planted. None of them have sexed yet so I'm ready to cull and replace any males that preflower.

Too bad I had to move this soil around. Would have been a great start for some no-till planting. Still very rich and dark with a lot of biologicals (even a few worms somehow).

It was perfect timing for a transplant from the 5" containers, one of the bigger Banana Ice Cream was even root bound. The ones in the 9" containers were tricky because most of the soil fell away. Hopefully it didn't shock them too badly. I wish I would have taken pics of the roots clusters. They were huge and very healthy.

I'll hit them with some Dr Earth Root Zone 2-4-2 in the morning. After seeing those big beautiful roots I'm making this stuff a permanent part of my regular transplant regimen.

Six plants, five different strains. I'm so stoked for such a variety of plants this year.

There were ladybug larva everywhere today. Couldn't get my phone's camera to lock it into focus. I'll break out my Pentax next time. I was throwing dust everywhere today and didn't want to muck the sensor up with it though.

Yup. A month and a half earlier than last year and twice as developed. I hope they all go fem. Still haven't showed their ta-ta's yet. The screen is a little lower this year now that I know it won't hurt em if they rub up on it. Feels different this year too. When I was growing from clones last year felt like I was finishing up someone else's work. Now I have the satisfaction of a full bean start.

I'm glad I put them in the ground yesterday without looking at the forecast. If I'd seen how cold this storm was going to be I would have held off a few days but now their roots will be well established by the next sunny day. They're gonna jam.

Got up this mornin, heard the torrential downpour hit the roof and thought for sure they were goners. Might even been a bit of hail mixed in by it's sound. When it had passed I took a look and there they were, covered in bits of peat, but still standing strong. The shade cloth did it's job very well.
