I am playing around with regular seeds and someone gave me some to try and out of 6 five we're male is this possible or what .the seeds we're from last year and we're stored in a jar in the cupboard

Absolutely. Unless you get seed that have been genetically feminized you risk males even in high ratios. Sorry bud.
