honestly I was new to the shit when I last seen it probably some old northern or hashplant ..was some one hitter quitter dark green bud bright orange hairs..I've heard it was still around my area I can ask a couple homies but I'd imagine they would just have a guess as well

The moose tranq was an old early pearl cut available in sw MI in early 90s, if I remember correctly. Super heavy dark indica would have you drooling on your Nintendo controller, in the middle of a Street Fighter tournament. Finished in late september OD at that latitude.
if we're talking about the same stuff from the Michiana region in the early 90s..

there was a local cat working the Moose T. think he did a BX back to the clone mom. Don't recall what male was used, but can find out. I know he was seeing some intersex don't remember how bad. was runnig through the bean collection the other day and I got a few of those Moose T. if someone wants to take a look?:)

Might be better for someone with access to clone to make their own bx and not worry about the cross dressers. Unless you have a place where you can sort through them without messing up any other projects, then jump on em and let us know your results.

Anyone familiar with Capers? I know it's a MI cut - probably one of the best true local creations I came across. Still never have been able to locate legitimate Monkey Paw...guess that will forever be a one time thing.

I know there was a really nice Sputnik going around for a couple years in the early 2ks as well - straight rocket ship herbs. Another one I've also wondered about was Lemon Purple - not heard anyone discuss that cut in years either. It was some of the tastiest around...also early 2ks.

Much beyond that time frame was all import and the local flavors seemed to have gotten phased out. A real shame.

I just ran capers. Pretty good strain. It's supposedly a Burmese Kush pheno. Looks, grows and smokes like a Kush.

i got a buddy that gets kapers all the time and also perma diesel and permafrost x hashplant they have been running those 4 ever ! local michigan ftw ...
