Here's a fun way to control your Mite problems. You will need a shopvac, a cigarette, and a lighter. Position your vac in proximity to your plant. Turn it on. DO NOT get the nozzle too close to the plant. Light the cigarette. Blow a nice thick mouthful of smoke up under the leaves. As the mites try to escape simply suck them into the vac. Run your fingers through your plant to remove any webbing and let the vac clean up the mess. You can shake your plant, but I wouldn't get carried away with that. Branch at a time will do. The smoke is relatively harmless to your plant and will be removed by your ventilation almost immediately. Repeat as necessary. Works great!

Of course it doesn't have to be a cigarette, other smoking ingredients would work as well I assume ;)

I can see a bee smoker working well in that case not the cigarette. It could transfer tabbacco wilt virus which is not a good look again just my opinion.
