This was dinner last night. She smoked the wings with a cherry/ mesquite wood smoke blend low and slow and then deep fried them and tossed the wings in some of her secret buffalo sauce. OMG...... to curb the heat a bit she made some of her cole slaw with cranberries. I slipped a little sambal olek in her buffalo sauce to kick it up a notch. She scolded me for that. But the pay off was worth the scolding. The backnote of the cherry & mesquite smoked really pushed the whole taste over the top.
