i went to check on my ladies that i got left outdoors a couple of days ago; well as i was dropping their end of the year fertilizer out of the corner of my eye i noticed a big cluster of panaeolus cinctulus mushrooms! then i really started looking and i found lots of them! it must be the weather we are having in vermont this year- i mean it was like 80 degrees that day and has been for like 2 weeks now, that is warm! we have been getting lots of rain too so maybe thats it. either way i am grateful for this! so for all you vermonters out there doing the deed with late flowering plants still out- keep your eyes peeled cause they are out there you just gotta look. the ones i found were growing under some low lying trees on ( from what i could tell ) a deers nesting area, they were growing (probably on the deer shit) in this area by the dozens. it had just rained the day before and we were at about a 85 percent humidity. good luck!
