My Buddy Dumped All Nutes Into Rez Without Taking Time To Let Mix

ppm's were 650 when they should've been 550 in a 40 gallon reservoir. Should I have him empty and redo the whole thing or can it be salvaged by diluting? My concern is he didn't take time to put nutrients in. He added EACH to a half gallon of RO water and then dumped it in.

Correct as long as you use water that is low in ppm such as RO or distilled water. It’s simple math. One gallon of 500 ppm water + one gallon of 0 ppm water = 2 gallons of 250ppm water. So adjust it as needed to fit your situation.
