ive been interested in getting a qb set up. Not really electrical savvy and strapped on cash . I have already a 600w led and an 800w cob full spectrum led . Not sure actual wall but I assume around 300 w total from wall . My grow space is 48x24x72. I have one plant right now looking to add 2 more . I see on amazon they have
This one
. Still. Little bit pricey . Any other option to diff size or any suggestions at all would be appreciated

you have 600w and 800w and your assuming only 300w pulled from the outlet??? How did you come to that conclusion?

Thats how they label the less efficient chinese blurple brands. They label them 600w but not 600 watt. Its what the seller thinks the light will match up with. Very deceiving.
I hear you. :)

Sorry..I am a bit confused..Thread title wants help picking out a QB (Quantum Board?), but you posted a link to an import C.O.B. setup..
I asked if you thought that a single fan would cool that light??

I run a few QBs myself in different spectrums, and for my $$, they can't be beat..JMO.

QB 1 20 181
QB 132s 1 20 18
Quantum 135w

If I could get away with less and a good yield with 3 plants. I’m all ears .
There is a post I made here (with a link) somewhere, showing the QBs at Amazon..growerslights.com and others also Carry them..

Those kits are simple to put together..no soldering either..The one you linked to is a super choice imo and will do it with ease in your 2x4..
If you want a good spectrum for both flower and veg..That one is 4000k..mostly for veg..you want 3000k or 3500k for the best of both worlds..On the growerslights.com and HLG sites..you pick spectrums before buying.,.
If you DIY,.there are great videos on utube to show you how..If not..just buy an assembled product.

Try the Farm's search to find info on QBs..if not..PM me and I will google and post links in the PM..(We are not supposed to post links here, I think)

This link is not a Quantum Board made by HLG. This is a knockoff called Quantum Led. A bit deceiving. But that would be perfect for your 2x4 area if its actually the correct diodes and how well it was manufactured.
WOW..I completely missed that ..That is pure BS, and just on principals..no way would I buy from Quantun LEDs

Your welcome, what caught my eye was the price was lower than HLG's site. HLG does have a couple stores they outsource to and sell some on Amazon.

kind of confused .. they have the same light on the growlights.com you posted...
Look CLOSER..Quantum LEDs is NOT the same company as those sold on the legit (HLG and Growerslights) sites.. @Rootbound found it..and I missed it.

I suggest the same but LEGIT light(s), found by HLG..on growerslights.com..I like them because they ship for free..
Once again..imo go for the 3000k or 3500k spectrum for general purpose.

Think what I can afford right now is the 135 watt . Looking for a decent non airy harvest . Hope this will do . Even if other led lights are bs . Still lights. I guess I’ll add another board next grow . This is my first grow in about 10 years .

Did you look at their QB 132,s and/or QB120's?..They are even cheaper and don't need a heatsink..Here are 2 that I threw into a spare flower tent to flower 1 plant (140 max true watts)
four 132's are $150..add a driver for say $100..misc stuff $25..Amazing 280 watt light for cheap..(Note..I used fishing leaders to hang these..no heatsink.

I see that . Heat sink is the back boArd correct ? They are all out of those boards. I’m looking for something that will get me threw this grow . Ballin on a budget since first grow is the most expensive. I don’t need 3 pounds or anything . Just tight potent bud .
