I have 1500 cfms in my 4x8..

When on full, it creates a difference of about 2 pounds of pressure.

It creates a vacuum strong enough that my tent looks like it's going to implode..

Results?

MY PLANTS LOVE IT!! Don't know why they're reacting in a positive way.

Anyone have an explanation?

I like a minimum of 400cfm per 5x5 space... your plants love it because our atmospheric co2 is at 400ppm and guess what you are giving them all the time?

Im so stupid. That makes A LOT of sense. It's definitely the increase in Co2. My buddy works in a casino and told me they use negative pressure to make people feel uplifted. I guess its like a Co2 high... So I went and bought a second fan and now I'm sucking into my tent an over abundance of Co2 and they're loving it.

Would you say this is an alternative method to a Co2 canister tent system?

I can't stress how much better they're doing. If I knew this, I would have done this 10 years ago.

I still remember putting 5 gallon buckets of wet veggy compost in a tent to bring up the Co2..

I just hope my tent doesn't rip.. It looks deformed. Lmfao

It will not replace 1000ppm of gas but it really helps to have good fresh air exchange. ..not just a fan blowing the same old shit around but real fresh co2 exchange. Those bags of co2 dont work..they dont boost enough. Your tent will be fine for 5-10 years before the zippers fail from the pressure. ..the poles will be fine.

That's a shit ton of cfms for a 4x8! I use a 8inch 400 cfm for a 4x8, and if I close all holes it does the same thing. Be careful you don't suck your tent up in that beast lol.

Lmfao. Yea, looks just like that. I have 2 keep all my vents open or the walls start squeezing the herb..

It's true about fresh air. Only after I ran my vent into the attic and didn't allow a drop of old air back into the room, it made a large impact..

Air exchange, so would I need another equal cfm on the other side of the tent making sure it's exhausted as fast as it's intake?
You should not have an intake fan... thats what vent adjustment does..... every blower you install should suck air out of the tent... then the negative pressure sucks fresh air through the vents. I dont like how some tent vents are set up but it can work.

You can shoot it out a window, attic or even aim the duct towards an open door and itll mix air well

That's why you go balls to the wall and get 5x what you need. If you put your hand by any one of my tent vents, the suction is stronger then my wife's vacuum...

I took double sided tape and stuck the vent flaps inside for light protection

I ran my duct 25 feet away from my tent.. It dropped the tent temp by 10°..

Apparently letting hot air back into your room doesn't help keep cool. Lol

Its called accumulation.if you dont exchange air. .. temp will build, co2 will diminish..this is why sealed rooms must add gas

Word, that's how I have it, opened holes and air sucking out. A nice flow.

what about light leaks,if you only exhaust and leave the tent vent windows open ,you have lights leaks,,talk to me homie,,i guess i could move tent away from the wall and open the back and side vents, any other would have light leaks
