GREETINGS FROM CANADA Question, from new grower, i have 20 gavita 1000s, and i want to do a flip , but its not the E model so i can not use Gavitas control module. I understand that normally with a flip you only use one ballast. But the gavita has the ballast/light /reflector all in one. What would be the best eay to set up 20 gavitas So there is only 10 on at a time 12/12 (limited amps available ). Thanks.

I bought the lights used,i had planned on using the gavita el2 control, when I got home I realized I didn't buy the E model .

Thanks guys, look forward to meeting fellow growers

you will just need to set up multiple dif timers to trigger these to fire when you want them to.im not sure of your setup really but you will need about 50amps to power 10 gavita safely. i would set up 5 lights per breaker and use 30amp per 5 lights.so you will need 4 x 30 amp timers as well as the 4 x 30amp circuits.thats going diy route,im sure you can hire an electrician to wire up 2 x 50 amp circuits with built in timers/relays. I use these, rated for 50amp but I only run 30 per box.can be triggered by a cheap 120v timer.

or if ya cant do alot of wiring and have lots of outlets with lots of space you can always put one of these on every damn light.be a nightmare to reset every time ya lost power though lol

I never buy used electrical equipment.
I never buy used lights.
I never buy used ac units.
I never buy used dh.

If anything fails who has to save the day? Your dead presidents.
Warranty is a great thing to have even if it's only for a year.
Buying from a store, you can return items that fail or you bought wrong (like 20 non-controller set ups)
Imo buying used stuff will generally bite you back, trying to save a buck doesn't help much either.
You'll have to buy controllers & run a trigger wire like sixstring said.
