Thanks for the tips. Yeah during Veg I read I needed between 79 and 84 Deg F, not sure if I posted a lower temp in the early days, before I started the co2. It depended on my fan speed controller, and whether the air flow was recirculating co2 or not. Sealed room for the win, I did both when temps got too hot turning the vero up for flower. Humidity I adjust with a set point controller, humdifier, and neg pressure is my dehumidifier.

One quick question, do you mean canopy level temperature should be 84 degrees? I have a nice temperature sensor chilling on the scrog net along with the humidity controller’s sensor. At flower 84 seems pretty hot, I won’t risk Hermies above 80 honestly and you seem well-read enough to know 1 degree makes all the difference in vapor pressure differential and/or a plant cell’s max heat resistance.

Either way the sealed room has been the key. And yeah I set the meter to 1100 in veg and it stayed between 1000-1100. I will probably set it at 850 next time I veg, and bump it up because you are right, only after the fact did I read that Co2 only need be in the 700-1000 range.

Your temp questions: I mean 80-84f optimal on canopy and if your sealed your canopy and room should be only 1-5 degrees at most different using led’s . The key with veg since they want higher humidity (65-75%) there’s no problem to run a room at a rate of 80-84f and run vpd. Google vpd graph/what it is and you’ll understand why a plant only stresses when you have not proper humidity to temp and they will literally burn up. But 80-85 is what they want in veg, exp with c02

The thing is I’ve never seen a plant “ hermie” from heat ( look at a lot of guys that heat remove bugs or most outdoors inalot of regions are def above 80f in the season ), but out of the almost 200 packs I’ve germinated and clones I’ve tried , I’ve seen 90%+ it’s genetics infused more or less

Here is pheno #1 of Humboldt Diesel. It has a slower flowering time than Tardis by 7-10 days, and I started it 2.5 weeks behind. Definitely pressing this one into Rosin because it is so sticky and possibly undeveloped. I will check trichomes today on all plants and post an update. First pic is its trained top and its basically just one giant nug, really hard to get a good pic because it’s so bushy.

This next lone pic is pheno#2 of humboldt diesel, and has golfball-like nugs, maybe slightly larger even.

Smoke report on a 3 day jar cure, 2 week whole plant dry at 68 F 65% RH. Yes 3 day cure, I had to test a baby bud.
The flavor seems amazingly good for my first organic run, compared to my synthetic grow I’m very impressed with organics and relying on bacteria and fungi with soil to produce nutrients. The high was great on Just a small bowl, it got stronger as time went on and peaked 30 minutes in with a long lasting clear headed high. I attribute this to the THCV that is said to be produced by oregon diesel. OR diesel has a flavor like sweet grapes that ends with earthy tones, and a sweet gassy aroma to match. It is very pleasant to smoke to say the least, incredible smoothness, which could be due to organic growth. I will test humboldt later today and we will know.
I will say I am disappointed I did not top humboldt diesel as it produced some seriously fat buds, but not as many as oregon who was 2.5 weeks older. I suppose I would choose OR diesel based on aroma, flavor and effect and a shorter flower time. Humboldt seems to be a heavy producer and strains were equally highly resinous with glittery trichomes, although humboldt was under developed due to time constraints. Humboldt also supposedly can produce 25-27% thc while oregon istypical at 18-23% with more variation.

Let those plants veg a little longer next run and your yeild will really be worth the power consumption
