Ph Down Effecting Ppm

I get a rise of about 50ppm when adding enough ph down to obtain the correct ph level per gallon of water added.

Is this normal?

yea, it doesnt sound way out of whack.

what is your source water? what is its ppm?

what are you using to lower pH? how much are you adding?
