So my runoff waters PH seems to be around 5.0 despite the fact I always double check my watering waters PH (always between 6.0 and 6.5). The soil I use is BioBizz All Mix (claimed PH 6.4).

How to fix this and how to prevent it happening in the future?

If its soil and not coco or hydro then don't worry bout your ph,it should buffer and ph runoff in soil is not an accurate measurement of your soil ph. You would need to conduct a slurry test similar to how you test coco.

I would stop going by runoff. You need to do a slurry test for proper pH readings.

In soil if plants look healthy dont mess with ph. PH issues and difficulty in solving them are 1 of the reasons i moved to coco coir.
