please help!!! how do i resize my pic for up load

the KB or somthing is to big how do i resize???

Right.... iv found the progran paint on my computer

how do i use this to resize my pics????

Check your camera settings. There is a setting on some cameras that saves a copy of a picture in a vga or lower resolution then the original. If thats the case it will be real easy. If not one of the mentioned programs will work.

thanks for the help but there is no setting like that on my camera

I don't know? I have to crop mine and once I do the file size shrinks a lot.

think iv worked it out.... iv resized 1 pic... now lets see if i can load it up

iv resized them but i still carnt up load

it keeps going to another screen that just says 404 not found

why is this?????

hmmmm. i just tried and it's working for me.

are you clicking on the link at the upper left that says "upload photos" under "user menu". is it then that it says "404"?

iv tryed it both ways

iv tryed to manage attachments when wrighting a post

and iv tryed to upload photos usein the link "upload photos" in the user menu

and i just get the same screen????????

Best way to resize and so quick.
Step 1: open up folder with pics.
Step 2: right click on selected photo. then select edit. it will open your pic in paint.
Step 3: click on resize. from there you just change the size to 15 from 100.
Step 4: save pic to desktop so its easy to find for upload.
Done in 4 quick steps. I found that resizing to 15 was easiest and uploads and loads fast when posting. I try to keep my pics under 1 mb. It makes for loading pages from posts quicker for all. If its over 1 mb, it makes it a drag waiting for every ones pics to load when following and loading threads.
