Sio2 For A Soil Grow

So I have some lab grade SiO2 available, and I was thinking could I use that for my soil grow? When/how much/how to add it? Thanks!

while I am not sure about the compound, it seems like you would need to know the amount of silica in the soil your planting into first. it may not need any more. and then, I'd be looking to see if this particular kind of silica is the same as what one might ad to soil.
