Ok, that was on Tuesday, today is Friday. She's grown quite a bit larger, and I only have a few good pictures as far as her first trim- I really would like a little help to see if I'm doing it correctly (please :) )

please be kind if I'm doing it wrong considering this is my first scrog try, but I would like a good insight as well. =^_^= If I need to take other pictures, I will.

Happy Farming :)

JWM2, I had thanked you for the rack, but I forgot to ask how is it considered as a fridge shelf thing, and how your insight about it. :)

Oh lol I see now. I thought it was the wire shelf from an old refrigerator. It’s a wire shelf. That’s cool. Should provide good support for your plants. Kudos.

From the few pics that I took on her first clipping, did I do the right way to help open everything for more cola? or is there something else that I could/should do?

Yeah you’re fine. I wouldn’t trim much until she fills out the canopy more. Then you can trim most everything below the grate. But wait until she’s better established.

Nice. I’ve got some suppliers for the small wire shelves as well. Great for home growing and veg/clone room applications. I need to build out my site a little more to reflect the additional products available. I’ll be working on that here shortly.

Hey guys, welcome back to Fox's Den! =^_^=

OK, the girl is doing beyond better than I thought she would, she got her next feed last night, and here are the pics from this morning:

The only tip that I -DO- need help with, is how much larger can/should I make the canopy? Thanks to anyone who can.

Take care, I'll be in later all ^_^ -Fox

I would only grow half your maximum height in veg then flip to flower

I know it means to 'flip' is to use a higher heat and light, correct? Only problem is I don't have a HPS (nor the fixture or cooling setup to pay for it.) I just grow her with what I have, unless I'm misunderstanding the 'flip' phrase. (Sorry about that one)

Flipping to flower means switching your vegetative light schedule from 18/6, to flowering schedule 12/12. :)

ahhhhh :) that is much easier to remember ^_^ How about much longer to go to that- I am trying to scrog, doesn't that take more time to grow in veg?

Ideally yes you would wanna weave your plant sideways tucking it into the holes of the Scrog during veg and then flip and tuck a little more then let plant finish growing. Idk if you could tuck that plant or weave it sideways in that grille or rack your using. Since the spaces are very small.

Sorry for the late responses,
Ok yes I can have her tuck and weave through the grille- it looks little, but she's also about to have a giant growth spurt and the grille is wide and long enough to take her through up and through. I'll have to help her on the way, but it will help me and the plant have a good vibe between the two of us and she'll grow better. I have noticed this while growing other plants as well (i.e. I grew a fur tree from a sapling when I was in 4th grade and treated her as my baby- she's now a 40-45 ft tall fur tree in my parents back yard).

So I'll do the same with the trans siberian, give her just as much love as I had with my tree. =^_^=
I guess I only have one question- is there a 'good time' to flip when growing as scrog?

LOL fair enough :) I do want to give her as much growth as she can carry to the flower point. I know that they -can- be really tolerant to a large harvest, it's how much I can keep up with the fan leaves I have to trim (almost every 2 days) to make it easier and healthier for her. I'll do the best I can, and I'll post pics in here~ week to week, until she gets toooo big to the size and time to flip, and I'll still post pics but it might be less (weekly or double a week). I will be posting pics sometime today/tonight, the new trim and how shes doing so well :)

Thank you so much MeanGreen, I truly appreciate the help. :love2::party1::smoking::cool:

No problem and I don’t recommend trimming or light leaks in flower. My plant hermed on me due to both I’m guessing.

And yes MeanGreen- I will not trim anymore unless she needs just stability.
