so i'm considering utilizing bennys again in my DWC bucket or perhaps cloner
after going sterile for a while.
i've read about teas using stuff i hafta buy.
but i aleady have a bag of inexpensive top soil.
and a spoonful of molasses.
it looks black and rich and full of bacteria. (the soil)
i'm thinking a tea made from that would be
helpful since its like, well... DIRT, which has ALL? the
stuff hydro is missing and therefore must contain
the stuff to fix it no?

thx.

I use Happy Frog in my teas at time , but I’m a soil grower. It would depend on the bag soil you have to be honest.
Read the back and see what’s all in it.

lol, i think the ingredient list on these lower price soils
would likely read :
"soil"

Nope, they should still say if it’s peat moss, coco, EWC and so on.
If your in the states they have to list ingredients. As far as I know.

ok yes it listed 4 ingredients:

composted forest product
peat moss
organic humus

and i cant remember the other item.
it was something unimpressive and forgettable.

this was a 40lb bag for a buck fifty like that cheapie stuff at lowes with poor ratings.

I’d probably hold off from anything that’s been stored outside , like Lowe’s .
Good chance of introducing bugs to your Grow.

And it doesn’t sound like it’s anything good anyways for a tea.
