Hey all! As the title says, I’m thinking it’s a Calcium issue. Maybe P? But I’m new! Only my 3rd grow - 2nd grow to actually go from start to finish. Lol please let me know what you guys think it is.

It’s only on a select few older fan leaves. She’s on day 13 of 12/12 now. Unknown bag seed. She was vegged for 93 days. Currently in a 12x12x12in pot.

It’s growing in 100% Canna CoCo. Been feeding Canna A+B at 9ml/gal, Rhizotonic 8ml, Cannazym 9ml, Calmag 3ml, Silica Blast 3ml, and just added in Cannaboost at 8ml/gal 3 days ago.

She gets fed about every 36 hours. Most people seem to feed at least daily - usually multiple feeds a day. Maybe that’s the problem? Should I try bumping up the watering to every 24 hours? Possibly 12 hours? I think every 24 hours would be a good starting point.

Temps are 69-81. Humidity is 30-50%. Using a 315CMH with the 3100k bulb. No co2 supplementation. Am I missing anything?

Other than the few affected leaves, she looks healthy IMO at least. Let me know what ya think! She’s been completely problem free up until this point. Any help is much appreciated!

This is the setup. Lots of airflow with 2 fans and a 6in exhaust fan.

Maybe the light is too close? It was within 12-14in. but I raised it as much as I could now for the rest of the stretch.

I agree that you have a nutrient issue.
Having only grown a few times in coco myself, I found it very easy, but I was only using MaxiBloom, and feeding twice per day in a hempy bucket format.
You might consider simplifying to a single "Lucas formula" salt.

It has been pretty easy up to this point! This is my first CoCo plant ever. Once I figure out what it is, it should be easy to fix. I’m thinking Phosphorous deficiency. Every affected leaf has a dark purple stem. They get kinda stiff/brittle to the touch.

I sprayed them a few days ago with some SNS-203 just as a precaution after I saw a gnat flying in the house. Maybe that just caused the issue. I’m pretty confused as to what the problem really is. The buds are coming along great I think still

I’ve considered trying out something simpler. I see lots of posts about the Lucas formula, but have not actually looked into it. I like the idea of the CNS17 system from Canna

Day 15 of 12/12. Got some frostiness starting already

Some more pics. Hoping it’s not a fungus gnat issue or something

Notice all the purple stems in the photos. They’re on day 16 of 12/12 now. Feeding at about 800ppm. Maybe it’s time to bump that up? Change A+B from 9ml/gal to 10 or 11?

I was wanting to add a little PK 13/14 at 4ml/gal during week 3, but might hold off until she is 100% healthy

Damage does not look to be progressing.
Dead areas look more dead, but I don't see much advancement of the insulted tissues.
I always try to think back to what I might have done to cause the event.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the new growth looking good?

Best case is things level out and those damaged fans become attractive pruning targets.

Fungus gnats fly in your face.
You will know when you have fungus gnats.
