Took a look at http://timbergrowlights.com/ to see what you where talking about.

Wow - so I'd say if you have to ask, find a more electrically inclined friend. I think about a quarter ounce of your result would be fair dinkum trade for their time and interest.

Wow.. I guess I'm pushing it. My COB's are at most 12/13 inches away in both flower and veg. Not even a hint of bleaching.
And I just moved mine up because the stretch put them about a foot away from the canopy. How long have you been using this distance and are you using cree cxb3590s and how many at what wattage?

Gday All I'm really loving this thread with all the COB madness just a quick question what kit ( from timber ) would I need to cover a 4x4 tent? I would make the frame myself I am just looking at the kits atm? Thoughts please it will be a 2 -3 months but it never hurts to dream I like to plan things out in advance :) Another point with these lights they cover the full cycle both veg and flower? What is best the 3000k or 3,500k ? cheers

I would ask Rain Dan @ Timber Grow Lights. He`s easy to work with. He might suggest 2 / 200 watt kits. He suggested 4 / 200 watt kits to cover my 3 1/2 X 7 area. Email or call him.

Thanks I will wait until closer to the actual time before contacting him I don't want to occupy his time until I am just about to order. Until then I will continue learning as much as I can about the COB setups ... cheers

Timber has the coverage area at the bottom of the info for each kit on their website.

20 to 30w per sq foot for veg and 30 to 50w per sq foot for flower is a good rule to follow for cob lights.im using about 25w to 30w per sq foot for flowering sometimes less and no complaints

Timberland 200 watt Cree kit out of the box. Great price. COBs ROCK!!!
BrokenCage...great grow!!! Next time Lollipop a lil more is my only
observation. But still, a great grow. 300 watts is ideal for the 2x4.
I run only 200 watts in a 2x4, seeing yours...bet I add 2 more COBs.
I like how it covers the area.
Success w/ya grow!!!
Stay safe!!!
