Ultrasonic Sterilization In Res?

Hey,

just saw an ad for this ultrasonic cleaner that states it kills bacteria on indigogo.

Think this would be an excellent way to keep a reservoir sterile? given your roots are far enough away it wouldn't damage them :)

The problems with ultrasonic include not being able to handle 300ppm which will cause the ceramic discs to fail in short order, and heat

I think the OP is referring to sterilizarion and not humidification.

it just states that it creates those bubbles that shouldnt be bubbles so they implode on themselves really hard, which would be traumatic to microbial life. half of their posts say it kills bacteria, half dont so I'm wondering about the validity of that
