I sold my cmh 315s, gavitas and other random lights and bought some solistek 1000w de fixtures and a controller unit. I’m very impressed with them. I swap the standard de hps bulbs out for last 2 weeks with some finishers. Will get some of their new 630cmh lights too as soon as they arrive in the U.K. But slp4 is one seriously frosty girl regardless of lights used I have to say

Hmm I was thinking of doing this, my one room I can only get to one side of each tray...if I tear the room down that I built I could space the tent a little better.

Are they 10k finishers? Ive been wanting to hear if people were seeing actual results with them.

Previously to these 1000w de bulbs I had 2 600w 10k and I noticed the terps went into overdrive 24 hours after using them and trichome production was DEFINITELY better than I’ve ever seen before. I gave those 600w bulbs to a friend and he pulled off his highest quality run in 15 years. Those bulbs were the only difference.

Wow, good to know. Ill have to try them on this run. Probably do 2 600w solis tek 10k finishers. I bet that gg4 will shine up real nice with them.

Just checked them out and for that price I will definitely try them. I’m blending hps and cmh right now.

FAB harvested last Saturday. I kept a little piece out to quickly air dry at chop to sample. The strawberry smell translated to the smoke in the exhale which was great. It’s mellowed out a little. I felt it behind my eyes at first and it’s pretty energetic to start and then mellows out and gets a little lazy. It’s still early and will only get better with a longer cure. The bugs weren’t huge but this was my first indoor grow and I learned quite a bit from this site. That’s what this is all about as a hobby for me, learning and garnering advice from seasoned vets
