What if I had one reservoir that was flooding two plants. But, one plants rockwool became mildew-ish, and was growing badly. But the other looked great except for tacos shaped fan leaves... Would the water that these two plants were sharing be tainted and effect the living plant? I tried googling and searching, but why do that when Im on this forum? Thanks guys.

If you have two plants being fed from the same rez any pathogens, disease or sickness or even pests from one plant will affect the other plant but most people who use rez,s use em to feed multiple plants.

Yes it's like sharing drinks with a sick person. Is your rockwool exposed? Remember that light+water+nutes=algae keep things covered from the light
