Hi guys.im around a month or so away from starting my very first grow using nutrifield 70/30 coco perlite mix and using professors nutrients and additives right through.plants will b grown in 18.9 ltr = 5 gal smartpots above rhizo stands for drainage.would it hurt to amend coco with slow release worm casting pellets and would i have to use a teas or somethin else organic
for the microbes to do there work.all new to me and unsure if i really should b doing this first time round.keen to know what you guys think and suggest..

Yea u can. And teas are more direct feed and in coco it doesn’t really do much as it doesn’t “stay” around long enough to “give up” all it’s potential .( works for some, doesn’t for others )
Light addition to coco will allow slower degradation in media and make it avaible. It adds a readily available micro/macro herd to root zone.

Thanks jack og......what amount should i put in ..say 1 /2 cup per 5 gal ??
I got a pic here somewhere of pellet size.more like granules than pellets actually.
They should rock up through the week..
