Neat. Why indeed? Just that they like it, ergo its a good environment for them to be in?

Okay, I've been watching these little guys like a hawk. I'm almost 100% positive that these flies are eating the trichomes. I was just in the grow room and there were 3 flies just chilling on the sugar leafs and I watched one with his little tongue gliding over the trichomes. They are not doing any damage to the leafs BUT where I've seen them sitting, those spots have less trichomes. It's war now.

Yah sure they weren't eating bugs on the leaves? Had some in my veg room didn't hurt anything just bugged me . I am sure they came in with the soil as eggs.......Did you know if you fill a baggie ( ziplock ) full of water and hang it over a doorway from the outside they will not come in your house.. Works there eyes have so many like pryzims that the water mulitplys and they wont cross try it with thumb tacks great for keeping out of garages. This was a Dear Medusa moment !
