So I had my door kicked in by today by members of SWAT, LVMPD, and Henderson PD. Besides having to go through the whole ordeal, it all worked out in the end as I am a carded caregiver, and was below my numbers. Had I been home at the time I possibly could have avoided the door bashing part, and my tent being cut open in several spots but it is what it is. I was very cooperative and the officer that I did all my talking with was very cool. My plants are still in tact and with a little minor clean up, I was back where I started. Stay legal.

Glad to hear you're safe and not under threat of imprisonment. Props on keeping everything legal. Sorry to hear about your losses, but they sound pretty mild.

Thanks for sharing.

Glad your still walking amongst the free! The same thing happened to me bro, they lied about buying a bag from me to get the warrant LOL I'm guessing they thought I was a weed kingpin with 12 plants and all, I got the whole westside n lock  give me a break ....I wish they'd do better jobs when investigating before busting peeps freakin' doors down because it had to break their hearts to see I was a legal patient doing everything by the book and had my #s in check. No weed or paraphernalia around my kids to get to either so they had to bounce ....no sorry or anything to me, just have a nice day, f---'n dicks! Hell recreational use has been legalized here as well so the smell of cannabis from your home shouldn't even be considered probable cause anymore!

On another note the way peeps have been getting their homes invaded around here, and some of them are dressing up as police to do it, seems when you ask for the warrant they should produce it for you to read 1st not give it to you after they've done there damages ....the more I asked for the warrant some of the cops were getting pissed ....I'm not and never have been a criminal and to be treated as one is a demeaning experience .....I asked a couple lawyers if I could sue them and they said it wouldn't be worth it, I think that's bs because they lied to obtain a warrant, if they bought a bag from me why didn't they take me to jail anyway or better yet ...where is this evidence (bag) they speak of?

It better be some primo shit if it's representing me! The city has been robbing ...I mean raiding the dispensaries around here. I've talked to over 9 owners or their employees about what happened and they all said the same thing, the police came in told them to get down on the floor and took all of their money & meds then tells them to shut down .....no warrant or anything, sounds like a robbery to me!

no more knocking. fuckers. glad you are OK.

Yea that's what really had me going while they were here, I couldn't quit asking em why they didn't just knock 1st?? Was that some type of shock and awe bs because I would have opened the door to let them in and gave em the grand tour!!

I love this quote from Bane in The Dark Knight Rises - "Theatricality and deception, powerful agents against the uninitiated ....but we are initiated, aren't we" Weaklings couldn't even get it open on the 1st try took several times, by the time I got to the door to try to open it they bust in and I had the barrel of an assault rifle aimed at me! They still haven't learn from the mistakes they made like with the shooting of Aiyana Jones, an 8 year old girl who was shot and killed during a police raid ...guess what, the guy they were looking for hadn't even been there! They are still in court with this case now and it seems to be getting no media attention .....funny how the media never dwells about negative police matters like this!

When I asked the officer in charge, he said they received an anonymous tip and that he wasn't even aware of the source. I wish I would have been home when they showed for the sake of at least saving my front doors and tent, but again on the bright side everything worked out much better than it could have. From what my neighbors tell me, it was one helluva show. I would be hard pressed to say I'm mad (other than the damage) but I put my self in their shoes with procedures, irate people, firearms etc I understand it has to go down that way. I was told by the same officer that it is very hard for them to obtain any info as far as being a carded patient, or caregiver, but is obtainable and I believe with a little homework they could have obtained all that information, came and knocked on my door and I would have gladly let them in and showed them all my info as well as anything else they wanted to see. Only in a perfect world. #staylegal #staystrong #stayinformed

On a side note, he was explaining to me the dispensary situation here which I was already well versed on, and the 2016 cut off for home grow medicine, but threw in that some folks depending on when you were issued your card might be grandfathered in for an extra 2yrs. and that there was even a possibility that the numbers might go up to 12, but to not quote him on that.

you can find out who tipped them off,its part of the "freedom of information act".they can no longer withhold that info on us ;)

I don't think they'll ever give up their source to a civilian ...the news sure has access!

I had a problem where they came out and told me I had to move some trucks in my yard.said it was a complaint from neighbors.well because my trcucks both had current tabs and insurance I did not have to move them.plus my lawyer was able to file a foia request and I found out exactly who made the call.i don't see why you couldn't do the same thing as long as it wasn't some informant that worked for the popo.but I was shocked to find out who called on me,i thought it was the crabby bitch across the road but it wasn't.and the moron that made the call no longer gets free snowplowing in the winters ;)

It is beyond me how they think they can come in a bust up your house, find nothing and then just say sorry and leave without being responsible for the damages.

This. ^^

the reason i agree, is because those tactics are for criminals, are you a criminal? I didn't think so.

same reason, when you are pulled over, and you get guns drawn on you and a window broken, and ruffed up a bit. only to find out they had the wrong guy or some other bs.

I think if you formally request it,they will unless it's something ongoing but i also think that laws vary drastically when it comes to the who and why(although they aren't supposed to)

Still don't like the fact that the kicked his door in on a NO KNOCK WARRANT, found essentially nothing, partially tossed the house, ripped open his tent and said good bye. Public humiliation, invasion of privacy and the wacko that started the thing is laughing behind his/her back. Not fair.
