I wont argue with your facts too much as im not really in a position to do it intelligently but the way you communicate those facts could use some work....

I would refrain from that term (prized genetics) at this point,,,,, I'd say, PRIZED CUTS maybe,,,,, but I'm guessing that GG#4 is far from prized genetics,,,,, that hermy Could/will fuck up most seed banks. And take someone years to figure out what went wrong if they tried to breed those genes........ No offense but I have a feeling that plant will be hard to predict what generation the hermies will surface from the pedigree I read about. So i was bad mouthing it ,the genetics not the smoke. And I know you're rite cause to date no one from THCfarmer has shared genetics with me, so I must be offensive as you suggested. Not that Ive tried to share very hard with anyone,,, I've sent out but nothing in return , so you're correct bout offensive

Dude your missin the biggest most obvious point of all....
If it was so hermie prone it would never be a keeper.
Fact is hermies are rare you really think people would be growin it it if popped nanners all the time?
Thats where my skill comes in I make sure my environment is such that it doesnt stress the plant in such a way as to cause it to become hermaphroditic.

Maybe but as hammerhead mentioned there are quite a few strains that are considdered above top shelf that are hermie prone if stressed.
Couldnt it be the other way around also?
Couldnt it be argued that a plant that doesnt hermie is actually the weaker?
Dont they do this in nature to protect themselves from extinction and harsh weather events?
If you put a "stable" plant and a hermie plant in the same environment which would thrive and spread?
These are all legitimate questions im not trying to be caty.
Im just floored that you could call this plant trash in any way shape or form. Especially if you havent worked with it...
And if memory serves pure bred dogs(since you used this example)are far less healthy and are prone to many more diseases than your average mutt.
So if it comes down to havin a plant that is a joy to grow clones fast has great vigor vegs fast yields well and the smoke is potent and delicious but it might pop a seed if I stress it...
Im still down!! there are plenty of so called "stable" strains that cant touch it...
Its still my most prized CUT.

@lino you sound like a fuckin complete toolbag to be honest ... And you bring it on yourself ... Was anyone talking about using this cut to breed with to sell to the masses ?? This thread was started to appreciate the cut itself .. Most of these cats are doing x's with it to find killer phenos for personal grow's or maybe to share with good honest friends ... People know that the crosses that come from this could be unstable but that's why you designate a room solely to look through diff phenotyopes away from your production rooms that consist of proven cuts ... Sometimes you take gambles in this game to find those special cuts that's sometimes that's the name of the game and sometimes you have to push the envelope to find these certain cuts ... I understand this isn't a popularity contest but a lot of these people on here are kicking around ideas and sharing knowledge about these genetics ... There's no reason to come on here and talk shit about this and that if you don't like the cut and think it's garbage then don't fuckin run the dam thing and leave it for us to enjoy plane and simple ......

I not going to mention dispences,, I instruct on breeding to a small group.... I have no PHD...... I can NOT condone a plant like this as an example in a cannabis contest. or the distribution of a fertile cut as well... As knowledgeable/responsible breeders we need to understand what this kind of breeding can do to a SPECIES ,,, also brought to my attention by a PHD is the fact of how small the cannabacea family is. We could fuck up the whole family,,,, beer and pot could almost go extinct,,,,, potato blite and similarities in pandemic'epedemic can and will over take our crops with this type of plant breeding and we're all seeing more and more pesticides NEEDED to bring these plants to dispenses and our gardens due to poor breeding. As an instructor I can not condone this propagation and spreading of this plant to the general public.

Here in Denver,,, over the LAST 2 weeks a cpl dispenses distributed a bunch of seeded bud to the Public..... Rumor is the poss of GG#4 being responsible for the hermy Pollen... To date ; I'm not sure of the father, .... Now I'm finding out that many of these seeds have a recessive hermy heterozygous in the hands of the public, 1000's of seeds. The F1 are going to produce awesome results but soon after disaster will strike many gardens , as what has just happen to the current seeded Hermy dispense gardens . Along with hermies we are spreading disease. Disease is spreading from irresponsible distribution of plants that have herm tendencies and breeding and hermy cannabis contests are going to speed the process of this disaster before Monsanto comes in and GMO some shit that wont have our inbred problems,. So I feel it is my job is to preach pure breeding and organic propagation to the masses to slow the process of this unAvoidable disasster... thats all ya here from me on this thread GG#4..... I never said I wouldnt like the smoke.

You don't sound unintelligent.
There are ways you could have made your point an quite probably even converted a few minds without resorting to callin someones cut trash. You trash peoples cuts an call it humor but it just sets people off.
If you truely want to make a difference and get people to listen to you then you need to learn to be a more effective communicator.
You don't put people on the defensive.
You pose questions you lead them to the discovery on their own its easier and more effective.
Perhaps askin about the hermie traits instead of the instant rant would have gotten you further.
Your science certainly doesnt seem to be ridiculas just the way you wanna preface your scientific remarks is what gets me. Its like you wanna stab us in the heart then appeal to our logical side... people dont work that way.
You could have questioned my use of a hermie line given your reasons why you thought it was a bad idea and had me engaged and ready to listen.
It is possible to discuss pros an cons without insults either way.

I have been growing the gg#4 cut longer then many. Not one plant had naners or pollinated other plants. Not just a few many many plants. If someone got naners on there GG#4 it's there environment that caused it. Don't blame the cut for grower errors.

Stop trying to bring a bad name to the cut and spread false rumors it just makes you look like a tool.
