The new hercules movie was fairly good, Alot of ass kicking not much of a story line but they do throw in a twist..

Its different then the previous storys so it was a nice change.. The Rock does kick some ass but the previews made it seem more mythological then it really was.. Over all tho worth killing a few hours over.

Ok so i know this is AWESOME movie thread, but i feel i should warn anyone who has been waiting to watch Sin city a dame to kill for...

I can sum this up really quick but i'll try and point out just how horrible this movie was. First its touted as a prequel and a sequel at the same time, WHAT THE FUCK?! Do you have to be a comic book geek to understand how that fuck that works out?

2nd there was NO clear line in the move of past and future it was blended into a confusing what the fuck story line ( Btw the story line was fucking horrible )

They also changed out a few of the actors Miho *Sp* is a new actress...

It was a confusing pointless slightly but not even as close to as violent as the first one.

If you were hoping for a kick ass sequel your in for a huge disappointment, and one hell of a confusing time!

I just watched the movie "Snowpiercer" lots of apoclyptic movies coming out now, but i really thought that this one takes the cake. Check it out

On netflix? That's weird, I saw this last week as well. Only recognized a few of the actors in the flick, but worth a watch. 6/10

I tend to see a lot of movies, so I'll keep this short.

Guardians of the Galaxy 6/10 too cliche and cheesy, but would watch again.
A Walk Among the Tombstones 7/10 Liam being Liam..
Dracula Untold 6/10 Different take on the Dracula, setup for a sequel. Great to see vampires not all glittery again. ;)
Jack and the CuckooClock heart 5/10 Sad. Careful if you watch with your kids.
Lucy 7/10 A lot of people gave this a bad review, I loved the concept, sorta along the lines of Limitless.
Lawless 7.5/10 I was amazed, I can't stand a couple the actors in this, but I would watch again for sure.
Clerks 8/10 Still a good one.

And finally

Pulp Fiction 10/10 Does anything really need to be said about this one?

Yup^ Netflix is full of crap but there's a few gems, and a few random movies that are mostly unheard of.

If you have Netflix check out "john dies at the end" weird zombie alien sci fi tripped out movies. It's amusing and Paul Giamatti makes an appereance so you know it can't be terrible.

Every time I've seen the trailers for Snowpiercer I think, "How far can Hollywood sink?" The scene where the lady puts the binos to her eyes and says, "This is going to be good!" is what totally bombs it for me.

I haven't watched many movies of late, at least nothing really worth mentioning.

the Expendables 3.. Gotta add that to the list of good shit this week, amongst all the ass kicking was some pretty hilarious parts!

Yeah I was surprised by this one too. sea is right hollywood has gotten pretty low, but an action movie is still an action movie. Reminds me of the Steven Segal movies, you watched them for the guns, fighting, and explosions. lol

Watch John Wick, if you liked Expendables 3, you'll like that one. Unless you don't like Keanu Reeves.

Yes I did

It was a pretty short PBS documentary talking about how plants communicate through scent, there were some pretty cool things I didn't know, like that plants can tell what kind of bug is eating them and produce specific scents to draw in the predators of the bugs that are messing with them.
