What's the cross?

Here's the story. A friend had a crop of OG Kush and Trainwreck (not sure of the cut, think it was Arcata) and the Trainwreck hermied on him, pollinating his whole room. Kicked me down on a zip of the finished product and at the time I was growing some freebie Mazar-I-Sharif landrace I had gotten with an order. I really like the Mazar so I grew out some of the initial OG KushXTrainwreck and took the best male exhibiting the most TW traits and selectively pollinated the Mazars I had going. Next round I grew this cross out with some White Rhino and open pollinated with 25 plants. Life happened, had to shut down everything until I got more stable and this is the first opportunity I had to see what I have here.

It's REALLY unstable genetically, a lot of variation between phenos and these ladies are clones of a particularly mutated female. She'll throw random numbered leaves that are kinda re-re when they show up. the typical 5 points and 7 points look fine. She's obviously a stretcher and looks to be a light producer, but they've been through hell and back. As I get back on my feet after the most recent BS, and have the room, I'll pop the remaining ~150 beans I have of this and let them do their thing naturally and try to start stabilizing with the F3's.

In short it's ((OG Kush X Trainwreck) X Mazar-I-Sharif) X White Rhino.

Using NFTGs its not important to flush before starting flower is it? I only ask bc it not like i will be using a completely diff line up, I will just be adding a few nutes...p.s. Im following the pro-level feed schedule but running it at about 75%

Also talk about things gI had a feeling things were going just too well for me!=( So I told y'all I was deathly sick and still trying to care for my babies and slipped and fell on top of two of them. Turn out the damage was not that bad surprisingly! a few suppercropped branches and thats pretty much it...until this morning! I was misting them with some foliar feed at like 2 mins to lights off, when I got to the last plant "emdog" the bottle slipped outta my hand and just the the lights went out...i fumbled around in the dark a bit managed to grab my sprayer and sealed up the tent...When I opened it back up at light on OMG the horror! Somehow that lil 32oz spray btl managed to break two MAJOR branches off!!! The were ripped clean off basically except for a lil piece at the bottom of each still connecting them. I got the grafting tape which in league with my luck had like an inch left, so I improvised with clear plastic wrap..not saran wrap you buy at the grocery store but a more flexible sturdier one you use to wrap a luggage or box....I cut it down to a 1/2 in and propped both branches back up decided to put a few drops of clonex as a binder in between and hopefully to stimulate growth so the can re attach...I have very little hope that those two branches will make it a week before falling off and dying...Ive been so bummed about the whole thing all day and feel stupid I let it all happen..SMH....ugh! anyway buenos noches amigos

The males will pop balls in veg if they get root bound, a lot of times.

Water basically destroys pollen, dunno why (polarity of h2o denaturing gamete cells or sporopollenin?). Whatever the case, a lot of people spray water to keep pollen from spreading. Try spraying down or misting your veg room.

That's what I was thinking, a quick water spray thanks man. Also good to know about root bound causing herms.


Now I want to get some opinions....

If I stress the shit out of all my stuff for a round, can I tease out the weaklings that will herm from stress or will ALL plants do that? What I want to do is try to narrow down my gene pool to the strongest ladies around that can take any abuse you throw at them and no herms.

Just hate walking on egg shells always looking for them.

My last batch I had a tall sativa that had a branch snap. It barely healed and the snap spot was like and inch long of brown stem, looked totally dead but was still attached to the plant like by a thread. Somehow that branch still produced buds all the way till end of flower!!! I wish I had a pic to show you but just cuz it looks like the cut never healed doesn't mean it didn't! i didn't even do anything to help it heal I was gona let it die off!

I feel like most Molasses products r pretty much the same. The only Molasses based product I feel is truly different is earth syrup. Awesome product. Go to vortex brewer. Com.
