Not really sure man. Really considering cutting up a bagger and doing some crazy chopper/touring bike... I've done a couple bobbers and I still have a traditional chopper but now days I've been wanting something with comfort and saddle bags. My body just can't handle riding a rigid for more than a couple hundred miles.

my buddy has a full dress road king that i ride about once a month cause he's got a bum leg and wants to see it run now n then.but she sure does ride smooth with a 120 pound woman on the back :)

you want a Harley..i will sell you a custom...lol
naw man i got it made,my boy wont even take my money when i take the bike all weekend.but i do go through his yard a few times a year with my crew and spruce up the place, which reminds me he prolly has a shitload of leaves falling now so im about due for a fall cleanup :(

Re: bubble....
We switched to using dry ice in the bubble bags and its so much easier and we get way more from it with no cleanup...

Just toss a few chunks with trim in the bubble bag, let sit a few minutes and start shaking into the container.. its like a salt shaker of product and the dry ice just disappears!

I was reading all the posts about the HDs and hoping @sixstring would want to buy my wife's 06 Road King classic lol. Low mileage stock two tone black and red. But it sounds like you have a great thing going already.
@Atom420kid sorry about the drunk. I think that's why the wife wants to sell hers she watched the neighbor hit me in a right hand turn and go down. I wasn't hurt to bad but it scared her. About six k worth of damage to my Road glide.

Ive got a jims 121 inch twin cam A motor with a huge throttle body and injectors with some nice cam work and welded crank pin and I'm Going to pick up a flh frame tomorrow, thinking about stretching it and doing a custom air suspension on the rear with a nice rake up front and then do some one off fiberglass molds for a fairing and saddle bags.... Its gotten to where thanks to bagger nation selling stretched parts that everyone's stretched bagger looks the same so I'll have my work cut out for me for sure. Last bike I built ground up I sold before it was finished and I've been booting myself in the ass for it ever since the first test ride lol.

My uncle has been a Harley certified tech since the 70s man and he taught me how to weld and build bikes starting around 8 or so. Got my Harley PhDs when I got out of the army and did some time in a metal tab shop... I did the whole building bikes for a living thing for a minute but it just felt like it made my passion and art unpure so now I just build for myself

I hear you, do something you love for a living and it just takes the fun and passion out of it. Then it just becomes a job.
