I've spoken with the owner's of Guardian in the past and even tested the product, it works very well. The roomers that are flying around are just ridiculous... 14x recommended dose of Abamectin? No way. I sprayed this product religiously as part of my IPM without respirators or eye protection, I'm a little annoyed about that bit, but lesson learned. I'm not going to stop using it, just simply adjust how and when I do. The other thing that is unclear is whether or not it is specifically Ivermectin or Abamectin that was found, definitely a difference between the two.

The bit about Scott from Nectar knowing about this and dispensing it in his sample boxes anyways, is absolute bullshit. Scott is a pioneer in the Industry and has only brought sheer quality to grower's.

Think twice about spreading hearsay on public forums just to add your two cents or repeat something said on Instagram (of all places).

Lastly, Streptomyces avermitilus when fermented (To create the Macrocyclic Lactones family including Ivermectin, Abamectin and Avermectin) will produce a yeast-like Bacteria. There are a variety of other pesticides that are sold in retail stores that claim to use an un-specified Enzyme to do the trick and I'm sure those will be tested now.
What I saw are screenshots of actual conversations, and the reported levels are from state testing. And what I'm reading is from people who've been dealing directly with these folks, from before their product even got on the market. At least one person helped launch Guardian, got others involved with it and is now essentially licking his wounds, because, get this, he's actually standing up and OWNING his participation. Even though he had not a thing to do with product development.

All those other products should be tested, too.

It seems clear to me that it was ivermectin that was found in the samples, as well. I'm seeing all of this go down with people directly involved. It's all playing out on the world wide interwebs.

I'm not reading about Scott as much as I am about Tom Mc.

yes, and thank you very much for reaffirming my ironclad policy of never ever, ever, smoking someone else's bud..
but on a lighter note, you ass-licking moron - just because this utter scumbag of a human being deigned to speak with you and fluff up your cred by declaring you a " tester", you're going to carry him and your patients to the grave? i would question your intellectual and moral credibility, but since you have neither, i'll avoid that brick wall...:)
Haha. I am the Director of R&D for Monster Garden's, so testing a product like this didn't necessarily toot my horn.

I clearly mentioned that I was in the dark about the product's contents, just as everyone else and now that I am informed about it's active ingredient I will use it as it is intended to be used.

Abamectin and Eagle 20 are used worldwide in Commercial Ag, because educated cultivator's understand the products and how to properly use them. I've done enough research and consulting with Ph.D's on these products to properly know how and when to apply them. The ignorant grower's who are stuck in their hobby market just listen to the crap that's spread instead of investigating and researching themselves.

You can use all the Neem oil you want and tell yourself it's the BEST and most Organic solution, but don't complain to anyone when you can't eliminate those Broad or Russet Mites.

FYI, I present pesticide/fungicide reports from Steep Hill with all my product.

Don't take my word for it though....

Ya, Tom is who I spoke with. It became apparent VERY quickly that he had no actual information about how the product worked, just that it does and very well.

Hey Greenleaf, didnt realise you were in that position. Props for pointing me to your atomizer; that things legit. Saving up for full rig with that. Im convinced.

OR, WA, CO pulled Guardian due to not labeling, but its since been reformulated and is available, yes?

Best grower Ive ever met runs a shop and loves it, wont use pesticides. Not sure if he knew it was Avid unlabeled. I still have some newer bottles. I know Mighty Wash pulled everything, fully disclosed ingredients.

I get "secret sauce" protecting work. Even consumers try to reverse engineer then buy bulk cheap ingredients themselves instead. Some products just relabeled and expensive "herb" store verions of common stuff, eg pond enzymes, etc

I see Mighty Wash as affordable, widely used and positively reviewed. Why bother making batches at home? To save $5? And mess up ratios anyway?

Anyway, Guardian should have clearly labeled the Avid in it. I prefer its odor to similar products, by far and want to use it in rotation.

They couldn't have claimed safe for organic production (as I recall they were claiming) if they'd disclosed it was really repackaged Avid, now could they?

This is why it's really far, far better to stick to what's proven in the agricultural world instead of going with hydro shop advice. You're not going to see this shit happening in the ag world, it's too strongly regulated.

Yeah, uncool. Avids not the nastiest, but still.
Problem with our field, as you've rightly brought up before, is its so nascent, barely legal (still! 600k arrests last year for herb!), and its not quite ornamental nor edibles since our stuff is combusted mostly.

Getting stuff approved for our use can't be a priority. We cant even have bank accounts. Chelsea C just gave speech this week lying that its killed people in CO (wtf?!). LONG way to go...

The tobacco world already has combustibles covered, and American Spirit is organic certified tobacco production. We can do this, and we can do it a whole lot smarter than it's been being done. :)

It's less an issue of getting products approved than it is using the appropriate product, appropriately.

Chelsea backtracked on that little speech she gave, too. ;)

Fun fact: I took students to the Cali EPA lab that found the PCBs that PG+E was dumping in locals water in Erin Brockovich case.

Head scientist explained of the hundreds of thousands of chemicals developed all the time, virtually none tested on any living tissue nor computer modeled, much less tested when combined with others. AND a woman who looked like Condi Rice sat right next to him, from the US govt, and censored and monitored every word he said.

She was likely a DOW employee or lobbyist. That was eye opening and terrifying.

She's Satan, Jr. In so many ways. At least we wont have to worry about prices plummeting with a national decrim or rescheduling.

Ignore every word her mom says. She kinda isnt very honest and says a lot she has no intention of doing. Ahem. And no, I dont love the Angry Circus Peanut either.

Fuckin' a
NOT hard, nor slow. Just the lowest priority imaginable for a govt corrupt to its core serving Big Pharma like a masochist gimp pony sex slave.

Have I grown cynical this election and last several administrations? Carter, Bernie and Ron Paul 2020... don't care how ancient they are. At least they're the last honest politicians in this Empire.

1 in 77 *B I L L I O N* possibility that Bernie lost primaries, per data analysis research by UC Berkeley and Stanford.

Stolen virtually every step of the way. Cali was horrifying. Caesar was stabbed by all the senators, now we are officially Empire not Republic. Cant wait til the Arkansas Dirty Pair die of syphilis and that nerve condition, respectively. I voted for them before, too. Ugh. Wish Id gone Perot.
