gold liquid light + penetrator

I had a real bad experience with gold liquid light + penetrator. Applied at the rate of 60ml/60ml per quart after the fourth node was set(~6in), to 4 different strains under 2.6kw, nearly killed the whole room and they didn't recover for over 20 days. I assumed I had applied too early even though th DM website said to apply after the first "true" leaf was pushed. Tried reducing rate to 25ml/25ml per quart when plants had reached 20 - 24in, same problem, plants took the abuse better this time only because they were older, bigger, and stonger but 25 days after 25ml/25ml rate you can still see the damage. I never saw a reccomendation for use under different light intensity, maybe this stuff works for low light levels or flouro growers but it didn't work under 10,000+ lumens/sqft. I think I'll stick with "real" light, it has never let me down and I should have known better.

Great to hear, I was also looking to move on to the GOLD line. Good to hear an unbias opinion now and again.

Apophis~ Did you move your light up? I have been using Liquid Light for about 2 runs and love the stuff... But before I spray I move my lights up about double the original, for about 2 hours, or whenever I notice the droplets have dissapaited.

Just figure a droplet of water as a tiny magnifying glass. So, you are in essence burning the plant if lights are to close.

I usually run the lights in that room at 24" to 30" above the canopy, when applying Liquid Light + Penetrator I raised them all the way to the ceiling which was a min of 4.5' above the canopy for the last 10 to 13 hrs of that day(applied after 2 hrs of lights being on). DM recommends a min of 18" to 24" when applying and if you raise the light to apply, DM says you can lower back to original height after 10 min. and lights should be on for at least 3 hrs after application. I think there is just too much light in that room, hard to say without proper testing and controls. Maybe I'll try again in a different lower light level room soon(on just one plant).

DM claims that Liquid Light + Penetrator allows plants to "use" upto 60% more of the light they are already getting . . .

"It’s a known fact that plants don’t process light anywhere near as well as they should. If they could process light closer to their genetic potential the results would shock you." -DM

"LIQUID LIGHT puts your plants into overdrive by helping to restore their lost natural photosynthetic power" - DM

I do not doubt this product will increase growth and yield under the right environment and appplication rates, but to say it restores a plants "lost natural" photosynthetic power or that plants just don't process light as well as they should is just not true. The only way to really know what this product does inside a plant or what went wrong with my application is to tissue test using NIRS with several controls, that which I just don't have time these days.

BTW, the DM Gold Grow A+B and Bloom A+B and Max Grow + Bloom work very well, have experienced exceptional growth and recovery from stress with these products.

I just used DM Gold Pen + Earth Juice Meta K, Microblast, and Catalyst as foliar spray and flushed the soil with water.

I turned my lights off, doesnt matter what the label says, Lights must be off if liquid is sprayed on the plants.

I use the liquid light + penetrator with no problems. I only have 1 600 watt light on a 4 foot light track so maybe that is why I don't have problems. I have read that if you use 1000 watters you should raise the lights. I always start the liquid light at half strength so maybe that is why I don't have problems...I love going into the room a couple hours after spraying to see all the leaves standing straight up.

Before I used this stuff my leaves would droop about half way through flower. Now I use it as far into flower as possible and noticed that the leaves stand straight up throughout flower even after I stop spraying with it. Plants seem to be much happier...

I on the other hand LOVE Dutchmaster and liquid light.. I use it only on mature plants in later veg and early flower.. I used to use biotanicare power series and the pure blend pro along with liquid karma and i liked it but always had diffencys with cal mag and all that.. I talked to the person at the grow store and she reccomended dutchmaster gold... i started out JUST using the A+B grow and Flower to test it out and had NO deffiencies and it out producced my best results with either biotanicare line!! Now i Use dutchmaster gold A+B grow and flower along with Max Grow and flower with silica and zone and i use liquid light and penetrator once they have gotten big enough to handle it.. and i have yet to come accross a product that works better.. i also use penetrator and zone for powder mildew and it is the ONLY thing i have found to get rid of PM FOREVER!!! IMO dutchmaster is the ONLY way to go in hydro... I keep searching and have not found anything close... i have yet to try the "lucas" fourmula but i did try flora nova and HATED it... just my $.02 worth... PEACE

Do you have any pictures? I would love to see what DM products can achieve.

No pics and I don't grow with DM but Poe and FF and others put me on to the DM Zone and Penetrator combo for Powdery Mildew and it works immediately.
Amazing and only real solution I have found so far.
