yeah I see this with my squash an pumpkins every year, figured it's a gourd thing. I'm no science guy. I just always thought since them type alway havin so much water in them they get funny an rot off from havin to much. water. Lol I've never been to bright I guess. So u jus cut it off huh? Is there a way to prevent.

I've never stopped it...but I use a milk/water spray followed by a spray of Physan 20 and I see a measure of control going on. Not sure if it will spread to other plants..... but it's always something that happens with (most of) the squashes....

Mabey I missed it but is that hoop house totally sealed up airtight? If it is you will also want to watch out for bud rot.
And powdery mildew sucks ass,lost most of a plant to it a few years ago

I picked some pretty good strains, I hope. I also had 3 left over seeds from last year's order to start with so in a few weeks I'll be ready to start flowering, only 2 sprouted and 1 looks rough but the other looks great
