if we are talking cup winners they are all potent of course. But I don't always agree with high times or even the panel here at an event.

It's very subjective. The market has gone in the direction of a fully narcotic high. With that comes more rush up front and shorter duration.

Ak is one of the first well known ones.

and now it's close to pure thc resin smoked in special rigs for the most of this sort of effect.

First the indoor underground market wanted low odor strains as real landrace plants and early outdoor hybrids stunk like hell.

Then the cup winning with the highest thc level started. White widow won for high thc too. 12. Something % at the time.

Now the higher the thc or the higher the hype is what the market pics.

We moved a lot of AK 47 when I was younger. But we smoked sativas. Even the underground growers used to grow Jack Herrer and Haze for themselves and some of us. And the main crop would be AK or something popular.

But we could still get real old school skunk still in Jersey when the AK was popular. We would be happy and giggle all day.

And for strong weed later ECSD was the way to go.

It's all subjective. Except the more boring high and less duration as they shortened flowering periods. The breeders have always known it's a trade off.

Been smoking seed less weed since the early 70's bro. Not all weed was seeded and from Columbia or Mexico back in the day. My story and stickin to it. ;)

I mean.... every grow of mine is centered on maximal THC/trichome-deposition & complex terpene profiles, so I could care less about the other compounds.

Whereas a medicinal grower would obviously be taking a different approach.
