I think I'm lucky here in the sticks. My PPM straight out of the tap was 47 this morning. Usually averages around 56 PPM. I just use the tap here, because our water has such a low PPM.

How does everybody else's tap water average out?

Mine's on the shittier end of the spectrum. It comes out of the tap at around 135 PPM, with a pH around 8.5.

100 ppm at 8.0. From a 90’ deep well.

I wish it was 150 and had less soluble iron but it is workable with some good regular runoff and some leaching here and there.

Considering a water filter for the whole house. Iron filtration would be great.

I'm fairly lucky with my tap water as well. Under 60ppm but ph is high around 8.8.

PH around 7.0 here. Not much industry here, even less up river. River is protected, has a trail along 90 miles of it. Maintained by non-profit.

Mines 350 out of the tap. I usually use a mixture of filtered tap water and distilled water. I should invest in an RO system and will in a few months.

In the past I had an ro system connected to a 55 gallon rain barrel with a float to turn it on and off when the water level dropped. This setup worked great and I’ll probably replicate it here. For some reason I’ve always had extremrly hard tap water.

My water lately smells like straight soil. They say there is increased organic matter in the water or some shit lol. But I think it's around 125 ppm with a very high pH around 9
