Hi all. I am growing Ak48 fems in a 3x3 tent in soil. They are two weeks into flower. This white mold or residue has been on the leaves for about six weeks. Anybody know what it might be?

That looks like some powdery mildew. Bad news homie. I've handled a very small case of it with neem & baking soda mixture but yours already looks way worse than mine did.

Regalia and Procidic2. I'll keep it all the way real with you dude. With that amount of PM that early in flower you'll have issues all the way through. Your yeilds will suffer as well. Like I said you'll fight this all the way and it will get worse. I absolutely love Regalia and Procidic2 but thats a tough task you'll ask of them. Every other product is a waste of time and money.

I’ve been in the same situation as he is and used green cleaner through all of flower and had a completely successful harvest.

Yes, and it was a very expensive. I got it under control in veg in this room. Then it was a matter of managing it. I think the key was changing the filters in the 4 ton hvac package unit regularly. This was a sealed room running co2 and scrubbing the air. Every week ide spray green cleaner into the return on the hvac unit to.

Have you defoliated under your scrog? You need more air blowing over your plants to separate your leaves or moisture from your leaves will cause PM and other moulds.
I started to defoliate. How much should I take out under the canopy? I read that I should not run a fan with PM as it wil blow the spores around.

I take off anything 3 inches bellow the net, but not branches growing through. The leaves under the net won't get any light and will die off anyway. A fan won't make any difference to spores, spores have arrived already. Mould is a strange entity, to wet and it die's, to dry and it dies. But give it conditions in between and it will thrive. I don't know if you've noticed your leaves when they perspire, it leaves behind wet patches on your leaves when they touch together, this I find is where the mould starts. So only good humidity and air circulation will keep it at bay. And even then, the over moisture still has to be extracted if your growing in a confined space.

Thanks chemistry. I cleared out the leaves under the net. I will run a dehumidifier and spray with Safer Brand funguside

Try micronized sulfur at 2-3 tbsp per gallon with a few drops of dish soap.
