Due to a new room and new setup, things went south recently and I'm having a lot of trouble. Im in my 5th week of flowering, I've been battling mites for 2 weeks and I've spotted PM on my plants today. I'm honestly pretty lost as to what to do, as I'd rather not spray any fungicide nor pesticide this far in flower. What would you guys recommend? ( I'll post pictures in a couple hours if needed, I dont have any atm )

Those are the products I could use right away: Nova, Natria ( both fungicide ) & Bug b gone, Ambush ( pesticide )

Natria only stays for a week while Bug B gone stays for 2 weeks, so they " shouldnt " be there when I harvest but I'd rather still not, + I was told it'd make the hair turn brown.

If i were you i would use a potassium bicarbonate and water solution for the pm. Just spray on the pm to kill it. Or uvc might work. Just a couple of seconds of exposure should be enough. Never tried it. But both is safer than any other option at this point of development.

As for mites, i never had to battle them inside. Thankfully. But if i had to, at this stage, i would either give the plants a good shower with pressured water. Wash under the leaves and anywhere i see them or i’d get a vacuum cleaner and vacuum as many as i can see. Under the leaves, around the stems, everywhere. I would utilize a mesh screen to keep the leaves out too. Than i’d spray them with habanero, garlic and citric acid every 3-4 till the last week. Covering everywhere. I’d basically try to ride it out at this point.

After harvest do a thorough cleaning.

Green cleaner is your friend. Can be sprayed up to the day of harvest. The main ingredient is alcohol. When you harvest take the hole plant outside and hit it with compressed air. That will get rid of all the dead bugs. Dry the hole plant up side down all the rest of the mites will scurry to the top of the stalk I usually burn em with a propane torch.

Definitly cant bring em outside... its snowing and its super cold, + I'm going to get spotted

What do you mean by dry the whole plant upside down? They're pretty big so I cant put the plant + the pot upside down either...

I was told that at this point it'd be pretty risky to even smoke those buds considering theres pm on the leaves, is that true? Should i just throw those away and do a whole clean up + redo my setup?

5th week of flower? You give up to easy. Show some pics, let’s see what ya got!

I've been fighting mites for a long time with those plants... lol I killed most of them while they were in veg but they came back during flower, and as I just said in my other answer to you, I was told pm on the leaves means the bud wont be " safe " to smoke? Does it mean there pm on the buds?

Im on my way there, I'll post pics in an hour max! :)

I've removed a couple of leaves yesterday before posting here which were worst, so if I had to guess they had been there for a couple of days (2-3 ) but those I just posted werent there yesterday

This might ruffle some feathers... But I would Carefully remove as many infected leaves as possible and then do a looong sulphur burn. 4-5 hrs. I'd fog that room like crazy and leave it fogged out for like 8 hrs. It will kill a ton of mites and the PM. Then I'd do a 1.5 hr burn every day for a week afterwards, then 1hr once a week until the end. Id do the last burn about 7 days before chop.

Before I get flamed.. I've done this personally for bad PM and it works just fine. The buds didnt smell or taste like sulphur, Infact the opposite, they were extra stinky and tasty. Sulphur is absorbed by the plants over the course of several days and used as a ripening nutrient.

Bro, that’s freakin bad! It got completely away from you!
I’d flip a quarter if your thinking of giving up. Personally I would not. Drop your temps as low as you can go and HIT THOSE FUCKERS HEAD ON!!!
I’ll never let a bug beat my ass!

Yeah I know.. I had predatory mites, but I cant get temp low enough AND humidity wont go higher than 40-50 during the day, so the mites were reproducing faster than what the predators were eating

What do you mean by hitting them head on? As I said I've been trying not to use pesticide this far into flower so Im honestly really lost, + pm appeared so I'm not even sure which to fight first

How do I go about doing a sulphur burn? What products do I need?

A sulphur burner and sulphur. I made mine from a metal container and a ceramic reptile heater. They are super cheap to build, but not cheap to buy. But sulphur is the solution bud. It is Organic, and kills both PM and Mites. It's the only product listed for use on PM for LPs in Canada right now IIRC. And it works like a hot damn. And despite common misunderstandings, it can absolutely be used throughout flower without any problems. Only thing is if you grow in your house, Youd better be buttoned up tight or it will stink up your house and the vapour is fairly toxic to people.

Yep I am in a house, and there's a 5y/o kid in there, so I guess it'd be better not to? Or how would you go about doing it if you think it'd be fine

Also I dont really have those thing right now lol so that wouldnt be until tomorrow or the day after

Green cleaner kills mites and PM all in one shot. Rotate it with baking soda mix. Green cleaner will do the job with the mites and help with pm. If you can hit em with compressed air you can nock a lot of em off into a corner and soak the floor with azamax or whatever you want to kill em with. If you have the time make up a habenaro spray it kills on contact eggs and adults.
