I found these wild cannabis plants in our neighbourhood. Is my suspicion right that smoking buds (once they are mature) from these won’t make me high?

I’ve read these wild kind of cannabis only make a tiny amount of thc... so i just want to be sure if it really is a waste of time taking care and harvesting them.

I dont know what different hemp strains look like though. But that is no rudaralis (auto).

Yeah, then i give it a try! Mother Nature is fantastic, these plants taller than 2 meters (about 7 feet) and look super strong.

Yeah I would totally give them some quality nutes and see how the buds turn out. At the very least, you'll know for sure if it's decent smoke or not. It'll be fun, whatever happens.

Seen alot of this(hemp) spending time in the midwest(Iowa,ND,SD,Nebraska).Pretty sure it lack any significant THC. But you never know someone could have dropped some seeds there while rolling some joints of thai weed or old school mex..try it as the worst ur gonna get is a headache

A LOT of that grows in central and Eastern Nebraska where I'm from. We called it "Nebraska No Buzz" "Ditchweed" "Nebraska Nonsense". However, like one says, you never know. Only difference between hemp and marijuana is the legal threshold, which was a meaningless number came up by a Richard Small in Canada years ago. He said, any cannabis with less than 0.3% THC is hemp and anything more than 0.3% THC is marijuana.. It is ALL Cannabis sativa L. even the stuff we pay good money for had it's origins in the wild. I'm not sure the % of THC you need to get a buzz. It may have some CBD and it may contain both THC and CBD. Years ago breeders were focused on toning down the CBD of cannabis in favor of higher THC. Now, it's a different story. Cobbler, Charlotte's Web, Chardonnay and a few others are specific bred cannabis to be higher in CBD and have less than 0.3% THC to qualify them for designation as " hemp".. Remember, it's all Cannabis sativa L. with different variances. you may have a dud... or you may have a winner.

Looks like hemp to me. There was a shit ton of it growing wild where I lived as a kid. They farmed it there during ww2 was what I was told.

I grew up in South Dakota where there was a lot of ditch weed. I smoked it once and only got a headache and sore throat and nothing else. It was by a railroad train track and the story was they shipped/used a lot in WWII.
