Not sure if this is allowed or the place to ask but I would like to get a 4" carbon filter that has been used to the point it's done absorbing odor and I want to use one as an Intake pre-filter for my tent. If someone had an old 4" they could send me I would gladly pay shipping charges and a handling fee.
I'm in Vermont so the closer the better.

Thanks for looking but I just found I can get a cheapy filter for $28.00 free shipping and I think shipping a used would cost at least half of that. So nevermind folks. I don't see a place to delete this thread. 🙄

Be careful with those cheap brand name filters. It's good to blow them out first with some compressed air. Cheap filters have been know to emit fine charcoal dust that can kill your fan.

Just bang it out a few times and run a vaccum on it to pull out any loose carbon dust.

Thats good advice, but now I am not sure what brand filter would be better since they are all coming from Chinese factories ..??

Undoubtedly they do lol. But China doesn't always mean crap though. You can get good stuff made in china, you just have to pay more. Lol
