hey bro,look into holley new sniper fuel injection,right up front im saying the kit is 5 grand,comes with every thing,injectors are in the throttle body,cool shit,it is a big up front cost,but from experience of motor building,i can for 100% tell you injection will turn that 150 thousand tired motor to a 300 thousand tired motor,no shit,this is what should have been done in the day,for emissions,cant remember which car it was but chevy came out with first injection way back when,im having to con sell body parts and all kind of shit trying to talk this here new wave women into un assing the cash,but in long run saves tons of money,not just for reg street cars but trucks also,even with a stroked motor you save cash in fuel alone,im designing my engine for pump gas,i got some fuelie heads completly reman from 72 z28 going on top,40 over flat tops,still the 5.7 stoke on rods,but my cam i went with bottom end torque,so i kept the lift right under 500,well 456 lift,be a torque monster,going in the 83,im taking the axles and transfer case from my 80 4x4,putting under the 83,i plan working the bitch,if i dont do the axles under it,stroking that bitch to growl,pop pop old but not dead and still likes to jack with the young pups and there trucks hahahah,tires ,rims,paint ,music ,style,all that dont mean shit when the hammer hits the floor hahahh,mama bought me a new stick welder about 2 months ago,i really see a new floor pan going in the 80 and thats were the torque monster be going,lot of work for a old man with a truck for hire cash under the table hahahah
