Progresses the growing medium aggregate space, giving the roots more room without just being tossed into a 5 gallon pot/bag from a solo cup existence and expected to flourish...solo cup, 1 gallon , 3 gallon, 7 gallon...something like that. Each time you up pot, that new growing space has new soil for the roots to grow into not old, existing soil...imho

light; 600w dimmable bloom spect led
transferred into a 5 gallon bucket about 3 weeks in out of a mason jar but it didn’t root very good in it.
i also didn’t have my light or nutes or tent until about 3 weeks in

Early game mistakes were made. Not the end of the world. Take it as a learning experience. Onto the next!

A 600w hps might. But yahhhh, idk about pk boosters. Not enough experience to say.

Marijuana nutrient needs have been proven not to vary much through the cycles. Many nutrient companies would prefer we think otherwise.

Cannabis is 95% water, off this plant i got 22 grams of cured flower.

So your telling me that if I have a 100oz wet then im only going to have 5oz dry??? Damn idk how I've been making so much money then! 😂😏

That lady is beautiful lol why so short? I'm trying to figure out why mine is so short, you seem to know what your doing, and that plant is short as well? I thought it might be my roots which my case it probably is. My plant went through alot at first

log did you veg for?
Did you plant the seed/clone in that bucket or did you transplant
It was bag seed and I had it in a mason jar for a couple weeks, and the roots didn't really do much. I up potted to 5gal bucket and it started growing more and when I got my fan in there around Christmas, they exsploded. ( I had two) the other hermed

Listen to the pot size advice especially if your in dirt. Did the same before, it takes a bit for roots to fill in in soil. You don't want medium just chilling without roots to take up the moisture. Extra moisture in the cold winter makes em grow slow. If you haven't make sure they're not sitting on a cold floor, just a little piece of foam or a shelf can get ambient air under the pot to keep it a bit warmer.

Veg er longer! you'll only get what the structure can make and she's little. Bigger plant, bigger yield, also takes more time so plan ahead. OR grow more little plants, great way to fill your light space.

Yep just get a dimmable one. So you can run 300w during veg. Save money and ramp up on watts in bloom.

Dimming hps has been proven to greatly degrade the spectrum. A select a watt ballast like the galaxy or the solis tech 400/600 ‘s i have you can run a lower power bulb at the proper wattage.

I used to like a 400 hortilux blue for veg and a 600 super hps for flower on the same galaxy 400/600/1000 classic ballast.

makes sense. If the little... electrons? (tiny things in the gas elements) are not getting excited from enough heat, they wont emit the right wavelengths.

I found myself needing a new ballast a while ago and I was wondering about that. It is hard to find much info about the select-a-watt and using lower wattage bulbs. After researching what I could find, I didn't feel confident that it would be safe and ended up buying a 315cmh ballast/bulb,socket combo so I could use the same hood and it worked good but I wish I could have learned more about that select-a-watt. I do dim my hps at times but it makes me cringe.
