So... Random thought. Would a [new/clean] toilet work to grow a single plant in? Like not a working in-use toilet, but like use a toilet as the pot basically, pre-plumbed for even watering ;p Feed thru flushing the toilet, drain into a reservoir to supply the toilet tank for "flushing" lol 🤷 💁
Thoughts?

I remember back in the 70s seeing a grow book in a head shop with a picture of a plant growing in a toilet on the cover. Don't remember the name.

I saw a toilet sitting on the sidewalk the other day. I told my wife that it would be a funny planter. She did not share my feelings haha. Positive vibes...

As long as the water drains away you can use just about anything my wife had her herbs for the kitchen in a old dunny bowl .

Youd have to punch a hole in the bottom. The toilet is designed to have a constant water level in it, and that would apply to having soil in there too, so it wouldnt drain properly and drown the roots unless you were real stingy with water.

Na i mean actually just flush the toilet and let it "run" so it wouldnt be submerged but also not dry, Just instead of a toilet supply line, itd go to a reservoir container with a pump.
Or if submerged but circulating, could toss a air stone in the bowl or just make sure reservoir has it at least 💁
