Hey, I am a first time grower and would love your help or advice!

I have 4 Pink Kush clones that are about 2 1/2 weeks old I picked up last week from a trusted grower.
I’ve built a makeshift green house with some PVC pipe and plastic sheets. Take a look at the pictures!

Any thing I can do to improve this green house ?

I move my plants into the sun at 9AM. Due to the location of my greenhouse, it doesn’t really get sun until about 2PM, that’s when i move them back into the green house. I get solid sun until about 6, as the sun goes down again due to the position of the green house it doesn’t not get ample sun from 6PM-9PM. Even though I know I need to be on a 18/6 in veg stage, I hope they still grow nice lol

Topping my clones for the first time

I’ve read a lot of back and fourth about how to train clones. Some say topping is the best, some say it’s counter intuitive so just stick with LST. So I was kinda stuck....

Frustrating part is, I could not find a lot of information on topping clones. Due to the sex maturity of plant I knew i was going to be facing alternating nodes and not symmetrical nodes as you would get from a seedling.
I ame to the conclusion too utilize both techniques and see what happens, along with some defoliation to concentrate energy to the new stems created.

Take a look at the my newly topped plants along with some LST training.

lol I don’t know if I did a good job or not but I guess we will tell in about a week or so

Also, I do believe the grower has a mite infestation. As you can see the white dots on the leaves.

I have and will use Neem Oil every 3 days to control this problem!

Would love to hear any comments good or bad, I am a new grower that loves to learn, so your help is appreciated!

Have a solid day!

I don't know where to start here...

Have you done much in the way of research? These girls don't look very happy at the moment.

Are you feeding?
What does your growing media consist of?
Can you measure pH/ppm/EC?
Do you spray neem during the day or night? @ what concentration? What are you using to emulsify the neem?

Right now those girls need a vacation in the sun, I would give them some room to recover and let the soil dry out for the most part. Don't cut them again!

Your LST is not going to be effective. You are holding down the leaves, not the lateral arms. This will accomplish nothing...

They are not getting enough light. They are in pre-flower already by the looks of it.

This could end up teaching you a lot! Pick up a grow bible! It will take you through the basics to get you going on the right foot in the future.

Good effort!

Wanted more exposure and input as I am a new grower. I should have initially put on this forum topic instead of the one I choose.

Looks more like thrips than mites either way neem oil isn't going to control either one of those bugs you're going to need something stronger

however you plants don't look great in general, over watered over pruned I could go on but I think mr. B said it all above

Also don't tie down leaves, wait till you get branches and then you have something to tie down, if you must

Yes I am feeding. I’ve been utilIzing the Blue Sky Organics Grow kit

They are in FF Ocean soil right now.
I have been measuring all of those including run off.

I spray every 3 days at low light with 1 liter of water mixed with 5ML of Neem and 2ML of non phosphate soap.

I’ve attached pictures to show what they looked like prior to topping and removing some bottom leaves.

As for the LST, I have already moved all of the tie wire to the branches opposed to the kolas.

I don’t believe they are in pre flower stage, but in veg, esp with the topping i did it’s going to need a couple weeks of recovery.

Anything else you can recommend?

Thanks for the support!

Practice, patience.

You are asking a lot of very small plants very quickly. They are in reasonably hot soil, I doubt they need to be fed additionally at the moment.

Let them grow is my best advice.

I am being critical but I'm trying to be gentle. You asked for good and bad.
Slow down, let them recover, rinse them with pH'd water occasionally, let them dry out completely between waterings, get them more daylight hours somehow. I see the sex of the plant in the first pictures you posted. That happens in pre flower.

If you want to learn with me about LST and HST you should have a look at my Super Critical CBD thread. I'm just finishing up a marathon session.

Keep asking questions!
